Product Description
Don't let the price tag fool you, the Carbine series delivers more bang for your buck than anything in its class. Just like its bigger brother, Carbines are constructed of aerospace grade aluminum and feature high-strength stainless shafts and triggers. They're powered by one or two Hi-Mod bands and a low-profile, pistol grip handle that makes for easy target acquisition.
So, if you want a speargun that will bring home plenty of fish without breaking the bank, the Carbine fits the bill.

works fine - limited reach
By usuck
This is my first spearfishing gun. Worked well. Reach was limited at about 6 ft, so the prey has to be pretty close. More agile fish (bar jack) seem to be good at evading it and i didn't want to bother with the more slow moving reef fish that were likely toxic anyway. It wasn't heavy, wasn't cheaply made, and wasn't that hard to figure out. After a couple uses, i was able to quickly re-enable the band while underwater. The only gripe I cold have was the reach, the fact that it didn't float and there was no good place to tie it to a hook.

Excellent everyday gun
By M
A great gun for the price. My only "warning" is that the shock cord is quite a bit shorter than described but is easily remedied by a longer length of Dacron or other cord. that being said, I would also not recommend this for shooting anything larger than 35lbs (15kg) or so, unless at extremely close range. A Great close range gun for the reef, and perfect for anything freshwater. preforms well and shoots great.

All you need
By A. Scarpace
It doesnt pay to overpay for a spear gun. This one works fine. I tie a string to my clip so I dont lose it because I have lost too many spearguns and dive bags in the past.I keep two knives with me and I keep two compases with me as well. When you tie stuff on, it can get dangerous in terms of getting stuck or tangles but I think it is worth the risk if you bring two knives with you . 2 in case you drop one in an emergency.I get a lot of fish with this gun but it is not made for long distance which is best evidenced by the price range.
