Hawk Performance LTS Brake Pads

Installed these brake pads (front) on a 2003 Ford Explorer XLT with Powerstop drilled/slotted rotors. Had them for almost 2 months and they work great...much better than OEM. I was somewhat worried about dust, but I haven't seen any noticable amount yet. My wheels seem to be staying cleaner and more importantly the overall braking is better. I would buy these again, will buy them for other vehicles, and would recommend them to others. Brake pads were cheapest through Amazon; however, the rotors were cheaper elswhere and I did not buy them through Amazon.

pads for my 2008 Cayman

These pads are silent and almost completely dust-free on my Cayman. The car has slotted rotors, so I installed them without having the original rotors turned (40,000 miles on them). I googled bed-in procedure for ceramic brakes and for the first time, actually followed the instructions. I don't track or drive too aggressively, but for my driving style, they brake at least as well as the oem's.I did misunderstand one thing - I thought they had cutouts for the oem wear sensors but they do NOT. I had to zip tie them out of the way, and will have to watch the wear manually. The rotors will need to be replaced next time anyway, so no big deal as far as I'm concerned

Excellent upgrade for my Honda Accord

This was my first brake job and was recommended Hawk pads with Brembo rotors from all my friends who regularly do there brakes. I needed replacement brakes for a 2004 Honda Accord EX. After reviewing the different options I had I went with these pads and the Brembo 25829 Rear Disc Brake Rotor. I also purchased CRC Brakleen Brake Parts Cleaner - Non-Flammable and CRC Industries 05017 Disc Brake Quiet - 9 Wt Oz.. I was able to do my rear brakes in about an hour as well as bleed them. The box comes with some grease that I used to lubricate the calibers and all the other mechanical areas. It was super easy! I then did the burn in as the directions stated on box and once I was complete I could tell a night and day difference from the stock brakes from the Honda dealer. The braking is a lot smother and distance is a lot shorter. I will be replacing all my brakes from now on with Hawk pads!

I have used Hawk for about 5 years and Acura MDX and TL....buying anything else is doing yourself a disservice.However, you must follow the break in instructions exactly !! After that you are all set.

Installed these in my 1990 Fox body Mustang convertible and I must say these brake pads are the best. Not a lot of brake dust and it was a simple install...less than 10min on both sides. I won't buy any other brand for all my cars and trucks.
