Product Description
The Body-Solid Utility Stool is a rock-solid tool for performing seated exercises such as shoulder presses, triceps pullovers, French curls, concentration curls, wrist curls and more. It works great in a rack for barbell exercises or on its own with dumbbells. The WST20 is designed to align your body to perfect seated posture and reduce stress on your back without restricting movement. Both seat pads are mounted to the heavy-duty 2" x 2" and 2" x 3" mainframe, which is constructed from 12-gauge high-tensile strength steel for maximum strength and features an extra-wide base that ensures lateral stability. When it comes to padding, you can't beat BodySolid's extra thick, double stitched DuraFirmTM upholstery. It's tear resistant and guaranteed to provide a lifetime of comfort and support without ever bottoming out. Whether it is in a home or commercial setting, the WST20 is the best seat in the house!

Looks good

Works well and looks as good in person as it does on the internet. Had this for a while now it still works.

Works better than it looks
By Zaine Ridling
I took a chance on this utility chair for dumbbell work based on Body Solid's good reputation. My biggest concern was the small, high-placed back pad -- it really doesn't make sense, and yet it does, but only after you get accustomed to it. The curved seat support bar is 2x3 tubing, so it would have been far simpler to make the pad slightly larger and make it vertical. I even tried it this way with the current (small) pad, but it didn't feel as good. Go figure. The design of the chair is fine, although what is pictured above is assembled incorrectly; the seat faces the other way so that the horizontal support bar in the back is not under your feet and in the way of dumbbells. The only problem I have with this chair is a silly design flaw: the brace supports for the seat and back pads are held together with one bolt, making them difficult to align -- getting one straight makes the other crooked, even if you have them clamped. Everyone else simple welds the brace supports on the tubing, making it easier and more stable. That said, I would recommend this chair. The large seat pad allows you to sit deep in the seat for a 90-degree angle or you can move forward for a lower 85-degree angle when doing presses.
