I primarily use this to play Sirius/XM radio and once and a while will use it to play iPhone/iPod. It works great! I had it installed at Best Buy for $50.00. For whatever reason, at first the right side speakers would go in and out while using but that problem went away and it's been working great for about a year. Highly recommend. Used in a 2006 Mazda 6.

Nikon Action EX Binoculars - 16 X 50

These binoculars have exceeded my expectations. The images are clear and crisp, the color is sharp. They are easy to focus. The vendor, Eagle Optics, went out of their way to locate a pair and make sure I had them prior to my vacation. Overall, I am very satisfied with the price, quality, and performance of the binoculars. The courtesies extended by Eagle Optics was a plus.

Excellent product & price

Bought these binoculars because I couldn't afford the Steiner product w/these specs. I have the Steiner compact binoculars that I bought from Amazon and was so impressed...love them. So I thought I would also buy the larger Steiner binoculars. However, after the sticker shock and then reading reviews on Amazon for the Nikons (and I also have two Nikon cameras that I love), so I thought, lets get these binoculars. I am so impressed and totally love them. Their clarity and ease of use surpassed my expectations. I find I can even use them with or without my glasses...no problem. I highly recommend these binoculars on all levels.

Great product, but needs a little improving.

First, this unit is the ONLY aftermarket wiring harness I have been able to find that works with a 2005 Chevy Equinox LT that has Onstar and "premium" sound. All the other wiring harnesses out there by other vendors (PAC, Schorsche) will disable your OnStar.Now, the product and documentation is fairly good even a newbie like myself could understand it. However, it does not integrate very well with Metra's own AWSC Steering Wheel control harness, which is surprising. Apparently Metra didn't bother to actually use two of their own products together. The issue is that the AWSC requires two leads on the wiring harness (pins A9 and A10) and Metra does not have leads on THEIR wiring harness (GMOS-08) for pins A9 and A10. As a result, you have to splice into the GM Factory harness.It would've been nice if Metra had put the chime volume control on the outside of the unit (accessible via a phillips screwdriver) instead of requiring you to pop open the GMOS08, but it's in the manual however (just makes it inconvenient to change/test when you have your car innards apart).

Metabo KGS305

Metabo has quite a good name in the industry for small hand tools (especially thier grinders) and have only recently designed and sell miter saws. I bought this saw from a local dealer as a replacement for my well used and abused Makita LS1013 (which was and is a very good saw). This saw is big (the footprint mounts are 21" x 22") and the overall width is 26" and depth at 45". It was purchased to be mounted into a miter saw table and not carried to job sites. Although it is very heavy duty and would probably travel fine, there is no top handles so it must be carried from the sides. This saw also does not include a laser - which was actually a selling point for me.The packaging was in prefect shape and better than most tools I've purchased. The rear fence straightness was right on and the table flatness was comparable to the Makita. I purchased the optional vacuum hose kit which is actually a tee'd hose that plugs into the normal dust bag port and also into the back for the unique "below" table suction. This kit includes adapters for various shop vac hoses as well as a 4" dust collection hose. I'm currently using a 2 1/2" shop vac and the dust collection is better than the Makita but it still makes a mess.Setup was easy and I tweeked both the miter and bevel zeros. Other angles were then right on. The included blade is an 80T carbide tiped blade which isn't bad - I like the Forrest chopmaster blade better though and will be ordering one. This saw allows you to preset a user-defined miter angle. The clear miter hairline marker is actually "3" hairlines to help you better tweek an angle. The power cord runs through one of the slide tubes and out the back - a nice touch. This is a belt driven saw with a soft start motor with brake - it's proved to be surprisingly smooth and quieter than I expected. The bevel angle locks are in front of the rear support and are a little easier to get at than the Makita (which are in the back). The board clamp not only adjusts vertical of course but also horizontally for narrow or wide stock. Metabo put all the user controls in Red (power, bevel, miter, head locks etc.) a simple but nice detail. Resetting a miter or bevel angle has a tight, precison feel. Even the fence slides have a precision feel to them.To sum up - it is obvious the Metabo put a lot of thought into the details of this saw. This is a heavy tool with a precision feel. So far the accuracy is very good. It is not cheap but I found the price can vary significantly between dealers. Metabo is currently extending the normal 1-year warranty to 3-years when registering online.

Solidly made-Poorly designed.

Smooth running machine w/ tight fit and feel. Quality components. Dust collection needs improving. No option given for dust bag. Cast miter scale gets covered w/ sawdust as does magnified pointer (Keep an air nozzle handy!) I ended up using a "Sharpie" to make some of the angles more visible. Dust gets into bevel lock down causing saw head to slide down to 45' bevel, even during a cut. Customizable miter stop feature allows for one stop only...not very helpful when doing crown, base or other cuts where you need a corresponding angle. Fence extensions do not slide far enough out of the way and must be disassembled to reach certain compound angles. Miter lock handle quickly became loose and fell off. Trigger safety button would be nice. Quality laser would be nice. I've owned this saw for about a year and still can't get used to it. I find myself going back to my nine-year-old Makita LS 1211. I would not buy this saw again.

Another awesome Metabo product

I have to say that when I saw the Metabo dual bevel compound sliding miter saw for such a low price I was skeptical that it was a genuine Metabo product. Added to that is the fact that no information on this saw can be found on the Metabo U.S. website, and very little information was gathered with a google search. After verifying with Metabo that the KGS 305 was at one time made for the U.S. market (didn't sell well here and was discontinued about five years ago), it was good to know that the same saw is still made for European markets in 220v. FYI, the saw that Amazon is selling is 120v. At any rate, it is good to know that Metabo still produces this saw, even if they don't sell it in the U.S. anymore (for parts availability and such).For those who don't know, Metabo is a high end tool company, making a variety of high quality tools, including but not limited to angle grinders. I highly recommend the angle grinders, they are extraordinarily well built in Germany and have several innovative features. Unfortunately, the KGS 305 is manufactured at their facility in Taiwan. A little better than being made in China, but as you know every power tool manufacturer builds all their tools in Mexico, China, or Taiwan. Few exceptions are made, with Metabo building most of their tools in Germany. I don't think you can find a 12 inch compound sliding miter saw that isn't made in Asia somewhere. A real disappointment for somebody that would prefer to buy American when possible (and affordable), and would then prefer a German product after a domestic one.After talking to the Metabo rep, I ordered the KGS 305 with overnight shipping (3.99 for Amazon Prime members) and it arrived the next day. I was very excited to get this saw out of the box and check it out. The quality is instantly apparent with this tool, and as soon as I opened the box I knew it was another quality Metabo product. Virtually every part of this saw is metal, with the exception of the clear blade guard and the motor housing. But everything else is metal and is well machined and fitted. One of the other reviewers commented on the "precision feel" and I agree. It is a beautiful piece of equipment that feels solid. Even though I did not hook it up to a sawdust collection system, I can tell you that the collection is probably as good as any other saw on the market. Sawdust everywhere is just something I am resigned to dealing with. Also, all the angles were spot on out of the box, with no adjustment necessary.There are a couple of negative points that I should mention. There is no handle on the top, so you have to carry it from the base. There is no laser. Bummer for people like me that love lasers but have no real use for them. I had a craftsman saw before this that had a laser, and I would turn it on, but I never trusted it and always put the blade down to verify my cut. Even though I didn't really use the laser, it was nice to have that cool red line and made me feel like my saw was very 21st century.I think that any saw you order will have limitations and some negative aspects. Even if it is a Festool $1300 saw, just the price is a negative aspect of that saw. In my humble opinion, for $364 this is a great deal and you will not be disappointed. There will be a lot of people that give the Ford vs. Chevy argument, which is better, a Metabo or Bosch, Milwaukee or Dewalt, etc. In the end, you can order the Metabo and have a high end tool, every bit as good or better than some of the other big names, for half the price. Think of it this way, you could buy two of these for the price of one Bosch. So if it breaks in 10 years, you can use the money you saved to buy a new saw that will probably have computer controlled cutting and all sorts of lasers and lights. I don't expect this thing to break for a very, very long time.

Great tool for microcurrent use and for locating points

I'm still figuring out how this works. I have chronic fatigue syndrome with myofascial pain/fibromyalgia, and I have a micro-current unit (like a TENS unit) that i use to "melt" my trigger points. But the electrodes can itch, and sometimes i want to move them around, especially since i have pain all over my body. So i got this pen to use instead.I've kept it at the lowest, micro-amp frequency settings, mostly because I don't know if it will cause problems at higher settings. I've used it to find points, then do acupressure on them.The hand-held metal piece that comes with it is to be used when someone else is treating you. My husband did not have luck with this, so I can't say how well that part works. But for use of the pen alone on myself, where I already KNOW the pain is, or may be originating, it is useful. It also comes with a smaller tip that can be used for points on the ear.I've used it mostly on my fingers/hands, toes/feet to balance meridians and I seem to be progressing with my overall healing.UPDATE: Feb. 2011.I still keep mine mostly on the lower frequencies, lowest intensity, lowest sensitivity, since I have so many trigger points (it detects points EVERYWHERE.) But they are getting better. I have yet to figure out what the plus/minus is for. I'm not a student of Chinese medicine, but I apply the pen where it hurts, or around the sore area, or just on the ends of the muscles. At first I was afraid and just used it on my fingertips/toes. But now I use it on my limbs, my back, my belly, my face, etc.I have a chart for meridians, etc. and sometimes I follow along them, but it's not necessary. The beauty of this instrument is that it TELLS you where the points are...acupoints, trigger points, etc. Any over-stimulation (acupressure/puncture/massage) is going to make a person feel ill. I have found an increase in my chronic fatigue symptoms if i do extensive energy work throughout my body, but after my system 'flushes out' the toxins that have been released (it takes a few days,) I feel a lot better.

This Tool is a Massage Therapists best friend.

As a massage therapist, I have used the Pointer Plus (the older version of the Pointer Excell II for several years now. It is extremely helpful in breaking up trigger points and assisting with myofascial release techniques. My patients are very impressed with how well the Pointer Plus works in relieving their pain quickly, without a lot of deep tissue work.A trigger point is an area of the muscle fibers that stay in a constant state of contraction. These areas are mostly referred to as "knots". This tool works great for breaking up those painful, stiff "knots" all over the body.I have a few tips for those of you who may not know how to use it correctly and want to recieve the best results. When working the area, "scrape" the end of the pen back and forth (left to right)over the area in about a 1" pattern while activating the micro current. Do this for about 30 seconds. Then "scrape" the area up and down within the same area while activating the micro current for about 30 seconds. A few passes in each direction using this technique will be quite effective in releasing the trigger point. Then "strip" the muscle (rub deeply with your thumb or fingertips in the direction of the muscle fibers)to further break up the "knot". Drink plenty of water afterwards to flush the toxins that have been released from the muscles out of the body.I see by the picture of the Pointer Excell II, that it hasn't changed much from the original "Pointer Plus" design. That is my only criticism. It is a highly effective tool, and it's worth the price if it's used correctly, but it is awkward to hold onto and use comfortably.

Love the Pointer Ecel II

Pointed Excel II is best used by an acupuncturist. Acupuncture is the best but this is great for quick energy work on a specific acupuncture point. We've had ours for one week and love it. My husband is using it on my shoulders where it is hard to use a needle and there is already improvement within a week. Acupuncture takes time for the body to heal and so it is with the pointer excel II.

Built like a tank

I own a lot of high quality cookware, including Le Creuset cast iron, which I use mostly for simmering and stewing, and Mauviel copper, which I use for tasks that need a more responsive pan. I forget exactly why I bought this particular Fissler stainless steel casserole, but it has been an excellent buy. It is very heavy, which makes it good for simmering stews, soups or pasta sauces. It feels extremely well made. Although it does not have the smooth internal enamel surface of a Le Creuset, food does not burn or stick to the pan and cleaning up after use is easy. For me the most important point is that because of the stainless steel surface I can use a Braun hand blender directly inside the pan to liquidise soups with worrying about the finish - I would be very reluctant to do that with any of my Le Creuset pieces. Externally the finish has developed a stained patina that I could no doubt remove if I wanted but I prefer it as it is; it looks pleasantly well used. The handles get warm but they do (as promised) stay cool enough to touch in nearly all circumstances. After two years of use I am very happy with this pan and I have recently ordered two other Fissler pieces to go with it. I have looked at other stainless steel pieces in stores but I haven't seen any that I felt compared favourably to the Fissler in terms of durability. The sole disadvantage is that these are not cheap. I suppose one could also argue that the Le Creuset look more attractive, but for sheer toughness Fissler has it.

Worked Perfectly

I just installed a Pioneer Avic-D3 navigation system in my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with this unit and it's worth every penny.All newer Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler vehicles use the "canbus" system. It saves them time and money by connecting electrical components through the computer. Without this adapter you will have a very hard time installing anything non-factory. With it all you do is follow the wiring diagram to connect your new stereo unit to the adapter, plug it into the factory harness and you are done.It even includes the vehicle speed sensor, parking brake sensor, parking light sensor, reverse gear indicator, etc. - All thing you would struggle to find around the car brought to you in one simple harness. If you are putting in a navigation system, you would be insane to not buy this thing.NOTE: If your car has a factory amplifier you have to wire the front speakers from the new unit to the rear speakers in the factory harness, or else your navigation system commands won't be audible. ALSO use the harness ground, do not try to ground to the chassis - remember everything runs through the computer....

Love Fissler pots and pans! But an update on this one...

High quality; well balanced; beautiful lines; classy looking; easy to wash; easy to store on a shelf or hang from a hook; lid easy to store; and not made in China. What more can a person want in a pot?Update: Although I do love Fissler pots and pans and I use this one all of the time, I am changing my rating from five stars to four. The reason being:When this pot arrived it had multiple scratches on the inside of it--the inside bottom and sides. Either it was a seconds, which should not cost $220.00, or it was damaged during the manufacturing without the manufacturer's knowledge, or it was a used and returned item sold to me as new, for $220.00 (which is most likely given where the scratches were).I was instructed to take photos of the pot and after they verified it was scratched, they would arrange for another. I was leaving for an extended trip overseas, was very busy, and remain very busy. I took the photos before I left the country, but after my return never found time to look for the photos in my files and follow through, so I just kept the pot. Requiring me to take photos, get them off my camera onto the computer, and email them off is a hassle. It would have been easier to just put the pot back in the box it came in and send it back!I am lowering the star rating because a brand new $220.00 pot should not arrive scratched up inside. It is still a good pot and I like it a lot, but in its condition it was overpriced.

Better than other brands

I discovered Fissler a couple of years ago when my husband bought me a saucepan. The engineering that goes into these pieces is better than anything else on the market, including All-Clad, Cuisinart, etc. Besides having excellent quality materials, nice heavy bottom, etc, here are some key features that I think take it one step further than anyone else.(1) The handles are riveted but the rivets don't show inside the pan. No messy food getting hung up on the rivets.(2) The bottom has a unique pattern built into it that completely prevents it from warping while still being compatible with glass cooktops.(3) The drip-free lip really is.(4) The stay-cool handles really do. And because they're stainless steel too, they're oven-safe.(5) Yes, it cleans up beautifully too.We're trying to get away from using non-stick pans for everything. This little beauty makes that a pleasure. I want to cook everything in it. I found myself looking at it the other day trying to decide if it would be too ridiculous to make soup in it. Hand to heart, I swear I did!

We got this for our 3-month-old boy. Very nice looking, easy to assemble, compact and easy to move around. However, when he starts kicking his legs, the anemic battery-operated motor stalls and stops. No A/C power supply adoptor.

Best baby item we have!

Our baby boy is now 10 weeks old. He had a tough first 6 weeks, allergic to proteins in my breast milk. The only thing that would soothe him enough to keep him asleep for naps has been this glider. We have gone through 2 sets of batteries so far(4 D size duracells), but he is in this for about 4 hours every day while he naps at the fastest setting with music and mobile going. It does fold up, we have transported it with us several times. The mobile comes off to make moving it easier. He is now 16 lbs and the glider moves just as well as it did when he was first born and 8 lbs. Only wish this had an ac adapter. Can not say enough good things about this glider!

great for our baby

Our baby has reflux and colic...she hates the boppy swing we got her, but likes this glider, it just goes back and forth instead of in an arc (like the swing does) so I think she feels more secure in it, sometimes even falls asleep in it. We've really liked it. The mobile moves around (battery operated) also. We paid less than this for it though...around $50
