Looks fast, is fast, but fragile

I purchased this red Ferrari Lego car for my 6 yr. old son. I was the one who basically ended up putting it together. I'm very familiar with the way LEGO designs their toys, but I feel like this one has a few flaws that may it more "fragile" than most. Granted the pieces will fall off with us, and the only way to keep it together is to glue it (tempted to do). Otherwise, the car is fantastic and has a windup mechanism that makes the car zoom off when you roll it back towards you and you let go. My son loves cars and he had fun helping me build it. He likes to play with it, but I find myself having to help him build it back up again after it crashes. Like I said, I'm very tempted to glue the whole thing together.

Lego Ferrari F1 a winner!

This is a terrific 1:24 scale Lego model of a Ferrari F1 formula 1 racer, and it is incredibly realistic. The power function pull-back motor is very powerful and this completed model really runs smoothly and beautifully, giving this kit excellent play value. There are many decals, which can be challenging to apply with perfect placement. This kit makes only one model, as there are no alternate building instructions or alternate model ideas pictured. This is an easy but really fun build, and you will have a great Lego racing car!

Darin jumped up and down when he received this for christmas. He was totally obsessed with it until he had the whole thing constructed. It was a real hit.

Just what I was looking for

I have looked for a double burner griddle for a long time. I researched many of the other brands, Le Creuset, All Clad, Caphalon to name a few. I needed one to work on my glass top electric bridge element. I took a chance on this one, although very expensive, I doubt I will be throwing it out any time soon. I cooked for a crowd at Christmas and made, bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage, grill cheese, paninis and more. Loved it. Only used a medium to med high temp. Cooked great, cleaned up great. Did not warp and stayed very flat. I even used it as a cookie sheet and baked scones, sausage balls, cookies...I dont always go for the most expensive stuff, but this is worth the money. Perhaps if you have a gas stove you could use another brand, but for those with smooth glass top electric with a bridge element, this is the one.Oh btw, I did not see any black stuff when I washed. Wash by hand with soapy warm water. No complaints about clean up. And didnt really need too much effort to clean. Just a wet towel would have sufficed but I like to use dish soap.

Even cooking, easy cleaning, pretty much right on.

This is a non-stick PFOC free griddle - you don't need to season it - in fact, you really can't. My pancakes were golden. My bacon crisp. My eggs came off without any scraping. Wiped the surface clean. Super.

I love this griddle. Wash's up great. The instructions say NOT to season it. I've cook pancakes and bacon so far and no stick at all what so ever. Hope to buy more pieces of this cookwear.

Easy to build, and stays together

Like all Lego models, this set has great color instructions and the pieces for each "step" are bagged separately for easier assembly.The best part about this model is that it's not as delicate as many of them (Rescue Helicopter, Airport jet, Airport helicopter, Fire station truck, etc). My five year old can actually play (gently) with this one without it falling apart in his hands. Some pieces come off now and then, but no big deal and easily repaired.

Great toy

This toy was a gift to my 5 year old grandson.My son said he sat and put it all together in one sitting. He was fascinated with it. His dad helped him with a couple of the pieces to help fit them together, but he put the whole thing together by himself. He plays with it all the time.It really held his attention and he was quite pleased with himself.

Great toy for kids who like to build and do pretend play

My 5YO son loved putting this together. He insisted on building it in one stretch, which does take a long attention span. It has great details and comes with accessories to promote imaginitive play. We just bought the fire station too, but haven't tackled it yet. I recommend this product for preschoolers/kindergarten/first grade.

Take LEGO Houses to the Next Level

If you enjoy building LEGO houses, this set it is a must-have. It's packed with 731 unusual LEGO pieces that allow you to add details to a house like never before. Create sculpted roofs, rain gutters, exterior lights, pathways, etc. As with all LEGO sets, the pieces are very durable. It includes beautifully illustrated instructions to build three very different house designs. I think this set is fun for both kids and parents.

A Very Good Lego House

This Lego set is one of two house sets from the Creator series. I was very excited to receive this set and I have only put together the house on the cover of the box. However, there are two other designs to choose from - each house is built with the same pieces.Pros: the house has a lot of exterior detail, including a garage door, mailbox, porch lights, doors, flower beds, and windows. Another very positive thing about the set is that it is very sturdy and stays together well. I have a 2-year-old and 4-year-old who play with it, and so far it has not come apart (atypical for most Lego sets).Cons: The interior of the house. There are no furnishings. The house is a bit too small to fit regular mini-figures. The second story easily is removed from the house, but there is no floor or stairs to separate the first and second floors. Finally, the garage is too small to hold a compact size Lego car.Essentially, this is a model set and not meant to be played with other Lego figures. If the size had been adjusted and there was more to the interior, I would have given this a 5-star rating.

A Great House Kit - fun to build, play with and modify

This set has lots of architectural pieces (arches, drainpipes, gutters, fences, mailbox, floor tiles etc.) so you can do a lot with it. A really great set for the price if you are into building houses with realistic details.Here is what the kids thought:Pro: They liked the house. They like decorating and changing the yard. They used the garage for Matchbox cars. They had a few things they did not like so we made modifications.Modifications:We added stairs (it really bothered them there were no stairs)We took out the back wall so they could play with the inside of the house.We added a floor on the second story so they could play with that too.We added better trees and flowers that we bought separately.The white color makes the design more flexible: it is easy to use bricks not in the set to change and add to the house.We eventually bought a second set so we could combine them and make a bigger house or a second house to avoid fights, since this quickly became a favorite.Smaller kids (5 and 3) were too impatient to build it (even with help), but enjoyed playing with it and decorating the yard and interior once it was done.So there is something here for many ages: older kids and adults can have fun building, and even re-designing the house. Younger kids like playing with the finished product. LOVE THIS SET!Highly Recommended.

Fun, cute, different

Nice to see something different from lego - I am sure lego fans have also got tired of yellow blocks to make diggers/earth moving equipment and the like, or grey stuff to make space stuff... so to find something cool like a snowmobile is great!The build was fairly challenging - which is nice as it keeps you interested and paying attention to the instruction sheet. Certainly kept the 32 year old recipient (a snowmobile fan!) entertained for an hour.

I bought this Lego Snowmobile for my 13-year-old brother and he loves it! He put it together immediately and even allowed my 2-year-old to play with it (which the snowmobile did withstand!). We are huge fans of Lego products!
