Line 6 Verbzilla

Some pedals don't have to be Botique to do great job, and the Verbzilla is one of them. Very articululte, expressive, and the Octoverb setting is haunting! You can also interchange the modules with other Line 6 pedals which makes this a very flexible tool. No...it's not a Lexicon, but it will fool the listener in a live or studio setting, with it's lush pre-sets (11 of them), and you can individually adjust the Mix, Decay, Time and Tone, to really tweak your sound. And the BEST part of this pedal is the Trails switch; when you go from a soaring verb soaked lead, and switch back to a rhythm part, the verb from the lead line decays natrually, even while your playing a complete different guitar part. Great value, pro sounds and flexibility...all you can ask for in a pedal! Line 6 Verbzilla

Good Reverb.

I wanted to get a good Surf sound most of all, but I also needed something that had flexibility, and most importantly good sound.The Verbzilla delivers. This thing just sounds good, it can go from dark and moody, to bright. It can go really deep in to reverb country, and yet when it does, the signal does not get all muddy.I had a Marshall Reflector. It's reverb was very weak, and would get muddy. Generally just zapped the quality or dynamics of the original signal.Line 6 has a good pedal here. If you are looking for that old Fender Spring Reverb sound this one comes pretty close. Plus, there is a generous handful of other usable sounds that do sound very nice as well. Cave might be my favorite.Nice adjustably with the 4 parameter dials too.Overall, I'm totally pleased, and the fact that it's reasonably priced is just icing on the cake.

Shimmer in a box!

I bought this pedal on recommendation from others who have it set up to provide shimmer effect. For this (on the Octo setting), it performs very well, and is terribly easy to setup. Most say it is better than the shimmer that comes from a Digitech IPS33 unit. I havent used the IPS33 but the shimmer effect on the Verbzilla is great.And of course there are mnay other standard reverb effects too which are quite clean in terms of sound quality. The pedal itself is well-built with sturdy casing and what appears to be a pedal that could take some abuse! Very happy with the Verbzilla!

I'm hesitant to order shoes or boots online because of the critical factor of getting the right size. I ordered a half size larger as suggested and they fit just fine. They required very little break in. They aren't too heavy or bulky. I wore them recently all day long while fishing on a small boat and they were very comfortable. The inside of the boots in the ankle area left brown stains on my white socks which don't wash out easily so be aware of that.

Very Good Boot

I bought these boots right before a hunting trip. I didn't really have any time for break-in, wore them on the plane and then started walking up and down hills. 4 - 8 miles a day in steep, rocky terain pushing through sage brush and heavy timber. Crossing creeks and side-hilling for hours through sunny dry conditions, rain and snow for 10 days. The boots were excellent. Kept my feet dry and comfortable in all conditions. The shank and the ankle support are very stiff and thats a good thing when you're side-hilling a 60 degree + slope of sage brush and loose gravel.The only problem I had was about 3 days in they started wearing a spot on the top of my arches. The arch on the insole is a little too sharp for me. I put a band-aid on it and was fine the rest of the trip. Good thing is the insoles come out and I can replace them with one that fits my foot better.If I was buying boots for light day hiking on trails I'd probably buy something a little softer but for back country all terrain hiking this is an excellent boot.

Perfect for me!

I've been playing guitar for 15 years now, and I've had a few different amps and heaps of stomp boxes over the years. Nothing will ever replace a real amp, or analogue stomp boxes, and I'm not claiming this little gadget will. So here's my situation and my impression of the Line 6 Pod 2.0:I live in an apartment. My amps are long since gone (needed the money, so I sold them) but I really wanted something to plug into. Buying an amp really wasn't an option, unless I also wanted to find a new place to stay. I worked at Guitar Center years back and I remembered toying with these during the down time. So I picked one up a few months ago. I've been running it through my stereo system, and for what I do with it, I really can't complain.The various amp models are all decent. You're not going to get a true Boogie or Marshall stack sound out of this. It does well enough so you can tell what it's emulating, but that's it. The special effects are nice. Simple to use and very functional. I really like all the knobs it has on it, as it allows you to sculpt your tone.You'll hear some people complain about this. "It sounds sterile" or "That's not what a Vox sounds like..." Well, they're not wrong, but anyone looking for a pure sound out of a $200 digital device can't be that bright. The Pod gets the idea across, and it does a good job doing so.I recommend the Line 6 Pod if:*You live in an apartment and you can't have a real amp without getting evicted*You live with other people and jam it out at night or when other people need quiet*You're trying to record music and you want a variety of amp sounds and don't have a lot of money*You enjoy like gadgets with lots of knobs and tons of different sounds to experiment with

This is one modeler which really does kick I have tried a number of these so called modelers and the Line 6 POD certainly does come at the top.I have used this mostly for home use and have not yet taken it out to gigs but shortly this is going to happen.The unit is dead handy as it does not need an amplifier to work it i have this running through a HIFI as it is usually needed to practice new material and sits there in a convenient space on the desk.The manual that comes with it explains all the different types of amps that it can emulate even the very expensive Messa Boogie amp is in here so to get that perfect Santana sound its here baby!Also on this unit you have a direct Amp A.I.R Mode so you can see what the requiredsound is like for an open or closed backed amp.The manual that comes with it is very thick i thought there could never be that much to read about this unit and you will find it is in different languages hence the size of it.Be very wary of one important aspect of this unit. Although there is some information concerning this unit and the aspect i will mention shortly it is not very well placed and the novice could end up with a unit which is totally useless.The aspect deals with the Pedal Board that can be connected to the POD 2.0.You must be aware that if you have the old Floorboard or FB4.The Floorboard which came out with the original POD will not work on the POD 2.0. The POD 2.0 has an FBV Pedal labled connection where the older version had pedal connection instead.I don't favour the Ethernet connection either as this to some might be tricky to plug or unplug although once the plug is in it cannot be easily pulled out unless the lug has snapped off the ethernet plug itself. I have no gripes with this unit and would recommend it to anyone however be aware of the type of pedal which can be connected to it as this could be a costly mistake.

A must have for cold climates!

I have currently had this remote starter for a few months and I absolutely love it! The only disadvantage I found was the installation process. Because of its vast controls, of course it requires more connections. I am a certified technician and it took me approximately 8 hours to install the starter. I am very particular with electrical work so I'm sure that it could have been done in less time. I don't think that its range is as advertised due to the many obstructions such as other cars in the parking lot. Generally I've found that if you can see it in clear view, then it works. The wireless entry feature is a great upgrade for my older vehicle. I use the remote starter every morning to bring the vehicle up to op. temp. before I head to work. It runs for 15 mins before it shuts itself off so I don't have to worry it continually running. I love it for my purpose and it was certainly worth the money.

UNBELIEVABLE Sounds and SO MANY

I have been playing hard rock and metal for 29 years (love Dream Theater, OLD Metallica, Vai, Satch, etc.). Wow, has it been that long? I have done more recording and gigging than I can remember. Anyway, I was skeptical when I first heard about this, read the reviews, and listened to some of the digital deniers/naysayers. I, too, have always preferred tube sound to digital. However, I quickly found that, if you understand and know how to properly adjust this amp, the distortion blows the others away... in depth, in styles, in selections, in sheer amount of leeway with which to experiment and create your own, signature sound (instead of being staying in the flock of sheep... you really want to sound like everyone else anyway? You can if you want with this amp... but, this amp allows for SO MUCH MORE. No one ever was cited as being innovative for sounding like others... But, I digress.) And, good GOD, when you click the STEREO switch and hear this thing through true, 2 sided stereo... THE distortion is absolutely beautiful, smooth, creamy, and just MAJESTIC-sounding. Doesn't sound compressed and like you're listening to it through a can... or has been compressed down to a few frequencies. Fills the entire room with a symphony of brutality. THAT, my friends, is where you get HEADROOM... STEREO SOUND. The clean sounds you can produce are without equal. Like playing crystal strings... shimmering, clear, and really brings out the different characteristics of adjustments to your guitar... volume, tone, pickup selections... where you pick on the fretboard, all of it. Amazingly responsive to different styles. It really shows off your instrument and your brand of music.The ease of use, the bone-crushing distortions that go way beyond what anyone would ever use, the crystal cleans, and the effects are all incredible. Speaking of effects, how many amps have a pre-set noise gate that you don't even have to really adjust for loud volumes? Just hit the button on your amp! Also, built in compression... again, just hit the button on your amp.You know what, at the end of the day, all of these people who dribble on and on incessantly about that type of tube distortion and this type of tube distortion... Satriani, Vai, and Petrucci all use the Boss DS-1 distortion pedal to get their distortion sound. Yep, lol, that's right. Look at their racks and their rigs... Lynch used ProCo (Rat) stomp box for his distortion. MANY players use Ibanez TS-1, etc, etc. Well, here's an amp that you don't have to go buy a pedal for... Ever.Get this and enjoy the freedom. Throw your effects away. GET THE FBV SHORTBOARD, however... Have fun and make music, people!!! Enjoy!!

GREAT but much cheaper at grocers

I live in central Georgia, and Claxton fruitcakes have been a Christmas tradition. When my daughter was young, they were always "Jesus' birthday cake," eaten for breakfast on Christmas morning. She is now living in San Jose, CA, and she called me this morning to ask that I bring one with me when I fly out next week.Claxton fruitcakes really are GOOD. They don't have the icky citron pieces... just the good cherries and pineapple bits, along with nuts and dense, sweet cake. The flavor and texture is a perfect blend. And the best part is, they sell for $2.99 at the local grocery stores. If you know anyone in the southeast, ask them to mail you a couple of these instead of paying these high online prices.

Stalkmarket holds up

So far, I've tried the Stalkmarket plates and bowls (two sizes), and I have nothing but praise for all of them. In fact, I'm now on my second case of the plates.The plate size is good, and the shape is actually more convenient than round. They hold up very well to heavy foods, have a deep enough well for saucy or wet foods, and microwave well. For the price, I don't ever plan to go back to paper plates... these are just so much better.

I love this!! Crafted well and is delightful for Halloween fun! Dept. 56 never disappoints on their products. Even though it is pricey because it is retired it is worth it. I've bought several Dept. 56 items from their Halloween collection and they've been a better investment than my 401k! The item came packaged very well so as to protect the item. I would absolutely deal with this vendor again.

This unit is seen in many hospitals according to my daughter who is a nurse. Once you get the pressure adjusted for the patient it does its thing with little if any attention.
