HK UPS 40 S&W Compact - Fits like a glove!

I'm 51 years old and have been a handgun enthusist since I was around twenty-two. I've carried with all type of holsters from belted pancake to shoulder made of leather and codura such as Bianchi and Uncle Mike's.I was very skeptical of a hard plastic holster securing my firearm, but this one does the trick. The plastic is very ridgid, but not brittle. This holster can be repositioned (not on the fly)via a screw so the gun can tilt in different directions of draw. I use mine in the small of my back with the way it's pictured mostly, but when wearing levis on the range, I find it just as nice to stick it in my front pocket with it tilted back.This is not a concealment holster in warmer months, because it pretrudes too much, but as an utility holster or with a heavy jacket, it works well.The gun makes a small click sound as the gun locks in. You can gently tug at the gun and feel how secure it is. With a little practice, using your thumb downward as you draw, it comes out easily enough.The ideal way to carry this holster would be to use it off your right hip with the pancake up against your skin or tucked in shirt. If you wear a belt, it should be noted that a thicker belt adds to the siloutte by pushing your rig outward from your body. I typically don't wear a belt, but with the weight of your firearm, it sure helps to keep your pants in place.I've owned my holster now for over two years. I have purchased a different model from Forbus for my Glock 30 and both have served me well for what I use them for.I prefer this holster over Uncle Mike's for concealability (heavy jacket) but prefer my Bianchi leather pancake belt holster for conceal carry (camp shirt).Frankly, most shooting accessories are over priced, but the Forbus holster is not one of them. Well worth the investment and I'm sure you will find that this will add value to your handgun because you are more apt to use your gun more often.

Real good holster

This paddle holster fits my Smith & Wesson SW9VE well and is comfortable to wear. The paddle is designed to be slide between a belt and your pants. The holster paddle will 'wedge(?)' under your belt and the holster will not come out when you draw your sidearm.There is a screw on the back of paddle allowing you to choose that angle the gun hangs. My SW9VE fits snug and comes out easily when drawn. (it is not loose or prone to fall out when bending over to pick up spend casings/etc. from the ground.)My only wish is that there was a tension adjust screw (as on the Focus Evolution line) so you could adjust how snuggly the gun fits in the holster.I spoke to Fobus customer service and they do not currently make an Evolution holster to fit this gun.I've only had it a few days and I am happy with it. This is the best affordable holster I could find for the SW9VE.

i WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE PLASTIC OF THIS HOLSTER.i THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE BEEN CHEAPLY MADE I WAS WRONG, KEEPS MY SMITH&WESSON SVE 40 NICE AND TIGHT, BUT NOT SO TIGHT WHERE I CANT DRAW MY WEAPON.. WHEN DRAWING THE HOLSTER DOES NOT MOVE AROUND IT STAYS SECURE ON MY HIP.. THE ONLY THING I DONT CARE FOR IS THAT I WANTED TO USE THIS HOLSTER FOR CONCEALED CARRY AND ITS A LITTLE BULKY FOR THAT, BUT OTHERWISE GREAT HOLSTER I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, AND HALF THE PRICE FROM STORES...
