Nice shift knob.

Was excited to get this knob in the mail today. Awesome construction, comes with screws so you could mount this to any shaft regardless of thread size. The preview pics made it look like it did not have a channel for your thumb to rest. Theres actually a grove, not rounded like the illusion the pic gave it.Very nice and hefty for the size of the knob.

Super fast shipping

I ordered this with the free 2 day shipping and it came in 1 day! That is awesome! The only thing that bugged me is the blue part on the knob. I thought it was a glass piece but it is plastic and a bit darker than in the picture.

Bad instructions

The instructions say to push down on the knob, but all that did was shove the rubber coupler all the way up into it. I will need forceps to get it out. More likely I will go to the hardware store and get something better. Aside from that, I like the aesthetics.

Excellent Axle-Back for the GD3

I pulled the trigger on a new exhaust. I did not really want a canister style exhaust like the Spoon N1 or HKS Hi Power, so I chose the Tanabe Touring Medalion.The axle-back was packed very well and once all the packing material was removed, it was beautiful. The craftsmanship is excellent. I chose this exhaust primarily for aesthetics and it did not disappoint. I did not expect any real gains in power. It weights about 12.5 lbs. The stock axle-back is lighter at 10 lbs. The only real con in my book.Installation was easy as I had wheel ramps.. Just needed a 12mm socket to take off the bolts connecting the axle-back to the B-pipe. These bolts were reused. I lubed the exhaust hangers a bit to make re&re much easier. The fit was perfect. Looks awesome.How does it sound?At idle, I noticed a subtle difference in the exhaust tone. Deeper.. it sounds tuned. It is not loud which I like. Combined with my HKS R-Suction intake, the car sounds much better. Not a boring, silent stock sound. But not annoying loud either, even at full throttle. (Note, my B-pipe and headers are stock).In short:Pros: Build quality, fit & finish and Sound!Cons: Slightly heavier than stock axle-back, not inexpensive but you get what you pay for.TOTALLY happy with my purchase. Should have done it sooner!

Great Deal

I actually ended up recieving 2 sets of the new black T1692s instead of what was shown, but they still didnt fit in my truck and they were eager to exchange and that was all set up, but i changed my mind and asked to for a refund instead they never responded. Im not soo upset, i recieved a better product then advertized, i really wouldhave liked a refund tho. Oh well i gues i can just sell them and make some money off them.

1. It arrived with a badly rusted inner chuck.2. The square tang socket is four very small grooves in a circular hole and do not hold the square tang well.3. The rachet gears are exposed where they can collect debris and there is no way to lubricate the hidden rachet shaft.

I've had this brace for a year and while it's worked for me I don't believe it was worth the cost. I'm not saying it's poorly made. It is actually quite sturdy and beefy. But I've used Stanley braces that are $25.00 cheaper and they are just as good if not better. On the whole it is a quality tool just a little pricey.

Outstanding tool

There are still plenty of reasons for wanting un-powered tools. In my case, the reason was a small child, eager to learn tool usage but not big enough to manage even cordless power tools safely. This tool fits the bill perfectly. It can't run away from a little girl's strength, but it's a real tool that does real work. Best of all, it's sturdy enough to stand up to the eager misuse and loving abuse that kids' first tools inevitably suffer.The must-have feature that sold me on this tool is the three-jaw chuck. Hex shanks predominate in today's drill bits. I wanted the child to be able to use the most common bits on the market, and I wanted her bits to remain usable when she graduates to power tools. One or the other of those wants would have gone unmet by braces designed for traditional tapered square shanks. (The description claims compatibility with square shanks, but I haven't tested that.)I grumbled a bit about sticker shock. I grumbled a bit less when I felt the sturdy construction and smooth bearings. Good tools cost money, and this is a great one. In the unlikely event that it gets reasonably good care, it should her last a lifetime.-- wiredweird

Not as pictured thankfully, great clamp

The clamp pictured at the time I ordered has a black handle and a partial pin. Mine came with a red handle, fully mounted pin with what appear like threads near the bottom, a fixed collar is located about one fourth from the bottom, and a stop is located at the top of the pin which prevents the pin from falling off while handling. The screw down has a hefty large nylon looking piece which really holds well. The thing is heavy, solid metal.My bench holes are exactly 1" in diameter. The pin is probably 1/8" less in diameter. I have the Sjoberg bench and couldn't be happier with this clamp (and the bench for that matter). With fairly little torque, this thing held a piece of wood that I could not budge with working force. It will handle a very large range of work-piece thickness and can be positioned a decent distance away from the edge.

Expensive and the pad is disappointing

Pretty happy with my Sjoeberg bench and the holdfast was a useful add-on until the plastic foot pad just fell apart. I will try gluing it back together. The holdfast is a bit expensive to toss and buy a new one if the foot breaks off.

Nice bench

I received and assembled this bench yesterday - took a few hours from start to finish. Overall, I am satisfied with it's quality. It fits very well in my garage workshop, where it is positioned near the rear wall by the sander and drill press.I purchased the matching cupboard as well and the resulting overall assembly is sturdy but not massive. I used Titebond on the drawers and various parts of the cupboard to improve rigidity. The aggregate weight of the bench plus cupboard is only about 115 lbs, but there is no discernible racking or slop. It'd be ideal if the bench could be bolted in-place - I may pursue this if this becomes and issue.Fit and finish are good. Instructions are minimal but sufficient. If the price for the combo had been <$500 I would have given it five stars.

A Perfect Solution for Gauge Relocation

I had searched through various vendors and distributors for aftermarket solutions for placing my gauge in line of sight.I previously had a custom fabricated gauge panel in the sunglass holder area (tray removed) but the gauges were essentially useless under boost.Its actually a safety issue looking anywhere other than forward when driving, and this product allows useful live monitoring of gauges.Through my searches I found this seller to have the best price, online, period.Product ordered and received ASAP.

Better get some help!

Installed this on a Ford Five Hundred and am very happy with the result BUT you'd better have help when you're bolting it in! This is a heavy hitch and it's a little tricky to bolt onto the frame. Luckily for me my oldest son came over for some Irish stew and I trapped him in the garage until he helped me complete the install. Took about an hour but only because I had help - would have taken much longer otherwise. Need some elbow greese to turn the self-tapping bolts on the passenger side. Don't forget to get the wiring kit designed for your particular vehicle. That took an additional 20 minutes to install.

Good product but make sure you are ready to install yourself...

This hitch is very functional and fits the Freestyle/500 perfectly. I recently installed this and am using our freestyle to tow a small tent trailer.People should be aware that the installation is not a picnic however... I think any reasonbly mechanically inclined individual could get this done but it is not a novice project. It involves some heavy lifting, a bit of mechanic savvy, and bit of blood, sweat, and tears. I would estimate about 4 hours for the hitch and electrical total.

This is a great product. I was able to go to hidden hitch's web site and get the installation directions before I bought the hitch. This way I knew what I was going to do before I even got the hitch. The hitch installation went smoothly and all of the mounting holes lined up perfectly with my vehicle. I'd definately recommend this hitch.
