Terrible quality control and poorly made

I purchased this from Amazon and it was sold through "In The Swim". The Seller was wonderful, prompt delivery (2 business days ) and when there were no instructions included I called the number on the invoice and a very helpful associated emailed them to me within minutes. I purchased two and the manufacturer was Suncast from Baravia Ill. It came in 6 pieces and was suppose to "snap together". Some of the pieces did not match up well and fit together poorly. The cover was almost impossible to install as the hinges are NOT slotted and you have to force them into place. It took two of us and a large screwdriver (bruised finger) to make it "snap" into place.Both my boxes came with multiple imperfections in the plastic. places where there was spots from the manufacturing process and both boxes had yellow streaks molded into the white front in the same place. I intend to return this. I found on Amazon a similar product manufactured by Rubermaid and because of their reputation would expect significantly better quality.

Pretty Sweet

It looks and sounds great on my car. Nice deep growl rather than that irritating bumble bee sound a lot of performance exhausts make. My only problem with it is the fact that it didn't come with a silencer for the muffler and I am having problems finding one for it. Law is tough on noise ordinance where I live.

Impressive headphone

I got one as a Christmas gift and I'm really impressed with it. The S-Logic is more than just one of those fancy "techy" names, it really makes you feel a deep and superb sound definition.I enjoy pretty much all types of music, from classical to heavy metal, from jazz to acoustic solo guitar. It passed the test in all sorts of music. I use it with either my iPod or listening to music on my computer.Pros: the sound quality is astounding. I'm a musician in my spare time and this headphone allows to me hear everything in such a detailed level that I have the impression that I'm listening to songs I've never heard before. The bass is punchy, the trebles are bright. Isolation from external noise is great. The volume is also great.Cons: I wish it was a little lighter and smaller. The cord is too long (3 meters), and sometimes it's a little tight on the ears, but I got used to it.

This is one good piece of equipment!

I originally purchased these headphones from a company I work at (which I believe I'm not allowed to name on this site!), and I bought them to replace an old work out & broken pair of $20 Sony headphones I've been using over the last 2 years.These sound great, and are able to reproduce near 10Hz - which is about as low as the 12" sub-woofers in my car go! The Ultrasone HFI550's also have great high-range - and seriously... EVERYTHING sounds 100% better then the cheap pair I was using before.That's about it! These sound great, are durable as heck, have a 3-meter cord and gold-plated 1/4" & 1/8" plugs, S-Logic surround sound (awesome, btw if you've never head surround in a pair of headphones before!) and have a 2-year warranty! What more can you ask for!?The only down side I've discovered is that they're kind of heavy compared to other studio phones - but on the contrary, they seal well and block out MOST outside noise (my co-workers have to tap my shoulder to get my attention when wearing them!!!)I hope my review helps someone out! I didn't once regret spending the cash for such a quality piece of audio equipment!

Great headphones for a decent price!

I bought this as I was looking for a pair of headphones for office use. I already have an AKG K702, a Denon D200, and I was looking for something for office use that doesn't leak too much sound out to the surrounding. For the price I paid, this is truly an excellent pair of headphones - especially for rock. Great bass. My only complaint is that the clamping force is a bit high.

Magnaflow 23355 for 1996-1999 Ford Taurus SHO

I purchased this item from another source.However, I had two problems: 1. The distance between the two engine mounting flanges was 1/4" too short. The stock converter has a distance of 25" between the outside of the front flange and the outside of the rear flange. The rear mounting flange would fit the exhaust manifold but the front flange did not. 2. The front pipe has a bend between the catalytic converter and the Y-connection which rubbed against the sub-frame. I took the Y-pipe to a local muffler shop and he heated the pipe with a torch at the bend behind the first converter and bent it enough to fit the front exhaust manifold and gave clearance between the pipe and the sub-frame. The factory instructions stated some welding might be necessary to make it fit.The pipes are 2 1/2" diameter; the original pipes are 2 1/4". The larger diameter pipes give a deeper tone to the exhaust note, which I like.The quality of the stainless steel is impressive and should last much longer than the car. One caveat is the mounting bung for the oxygen sensor upstream of the second catalytic converter could have been 1/2" to 2" higher. As it is, the wires for the sensor are very close to the pipe below and could melt, perhaps causing the sensor to fail.If the dimensions were closer to factory spec, it would have been an easy install and I would rate this item 5 stars.

1996 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.4L, Manual Transmission

I replaced a bosal unit that was on the car approximately 2.5 years. The converter on that unit plugged (to be fair probably from a lack of tune up and dumping fuel into the exhaust, another story) but the big problem was that it used a braded steel connection between the exhaust manifold flange and the exhaust pipe. The connection first started to leak, then completely broke. very noisy. This unit has larger diameter exhaust pipe, a more secure pipe to manifold flange connection, and the O2 sensor bung is angled for a better fit. The unit tucks into the body structure very nicely so it will not drag over speed bumps. Overall, my Cavy is working 100% better with this unit, longevity will be the next hurdle. Vehicle is a 1996 Chevrolet cavalier convertible, 2.4L DOHC engine, 5 speed manual trans.

Very Sturdy Tarp!

Used this tarp to cover hay on top of a trailer. Driving at up to 65 mph tarp remained unripped for a 20 hour drive. Have used several other brands of tarps for same purpose and found they ripped easily in the winds created by driving. Recommend using a stretchy "truck bed net" over the top of the tarp.

I wuz wundering ....

I carefully researched and rechecked , ordered to install myself ; never got the chance . However , took to our local repair shop buddies and they installed easy enough . Unit came with the necessary mounting donut seal as well . Truck passed inspection , meaning unit functions as it should . My original unit was cracked so replacing with this actually improved performance enough to notice with better fuel mileage also as a nice extra . I can hear a little more "throat" to exhaust meaning good flow thru . Cost effective for me , certainly . When i get back to hauling firewood , we'll be using that little extra power . Dont kid yourself as a little 2.3 FORD truck type engine has strong low end PULL . I installed tranny cooler and can haul a TON either spread over truck and trailer or just flat trailer tow ; YEAH , that little power boost will be nice ! ARGH ARGH !! And proper working CAT keeps heat moving out the back .

Economical and well made

Just for clarification. this is the Simpson Triple wall pipe. It's only compatible with triple wall fittings. When I first started doing research I got a bit mixed up because Simpson also makes a higher end line of pipes that are narrower and double wall. (Simpson Dura-Plus is the triple wall and Simpson Dura-Tech is the double wall)I was pleased with the fit and finish. Although not required I took the advice of others and backed up the screw lock attachment with some metal shrews put into the joints.If you are going to DIY I recommend finding the suitable kit for your application. They include many of the key components and offer a cost savings. It just simplifies things a bit.

Great value for the money. I saved a lot buying through Amazon. Fit was good for my 1999 F150 but too tight one one side, we had to hit the end open with a hammer so that it would slide over the matching MagnaFlow muffler system. I was surprised to see that it was shipped without a box, just the pipe by itself. So it has small dents and scratches from the shipping, not to mention the shipping stickers to take off, oh, and they don't just peel off, I had to soak the paper ones off with water, then use a solvent to get the adhesive off. Overall, a good stainless product from Magnaflow.

Better than expected

The only thing keeping this product from a 5* review is the center grate design. The pieces just don't fit the way they should and it makes for a poor look from underneath. The copper colors on the different elements all match fairly well and it is better looking then the pictures show. It is bright metal and looks polished, even though it has a brushed look in some of the pictures. Be warned, the box doesn't match what is inside; mine said satin stainless. Open it before you call upset.

Stainless Steel - Smooth Bends

Better be handy with a welder to fabricate hangers. I welded hangers to 3" muffler clamps to avoid welding (and bringing the carbon out of the stainless). Looks good after the hassle of installation. I haven't seen another vehicle setup like this one. Sounds, and looks good.
