5Great Ride for the Money
By Mark A. Wellman
I bought mine locally, and I tried out about one dozen other rides in the store. I liked this one the best. I have been playing drums over forty years, and I really like the way this ride sounds: pingy, good bell, nice "cushion" of sound underneath, and no gongy sound like most other cheap cymbals. Check it out if you want a great deal on a ride.

5wowza!
By Diane Kapustka
this is very very awesome ridevery distinct ping, the bell is loud and cutting but doesn't overpowera normal bow strike sounds awesome.i bought this off of E-bay for $59 and the shipping was 16.50 or so. Which means i payed 75.50 for a brand new ride, so i saved 54 dollars. But, this wasn't buying from E-bay, this was buying from a dude who cleared out his music store that he owned and put a bunch of stuff on E-bay. I payed the price of a ZBT ride and got a ZHT ride. Pretty sweet huh?But still, this thing is definitely worth $130.00. I would actually recommend getting the ZHT rock set with the free 18" rock crash. Comes with this ride, 14" rock hats, a 16" rock crash, and a free 18" rock crash. Read my review for the hi-hats if you'd like.

3good for the price
By Margaret Z.
Pros: very easy to install, it took me about 15 minutes. great price, I couldn't find anything cheaper for that size.Cons: once installed it looks good, but it does wobble quite a bit. I wouldn't recommend it for installing it on top of the stairs. It moves a lot when my daughter tries to climb it. I don't think it'll break, but you never know! The wood is unfinished, just sanded smooth. Not sure how that will hold up to my kids sticky fingers, but I don't plan on keeping it more than 6 months.I would recommend it for small pet owners, I don't know how well it'll hold up to child abuse.

1Disappointed
By Avah & Mia
I am not happy with this baby gate at all!! I would rather spend the extra money to get a baby gate with a door within it....My daughter has been able to rip this gate out of the wall more then once, and my 7 year old has issues opening it

5Nice gate.
By Elixandra
We bought this gate to keep our little dogs in there area of the house at night. We have an older dog that has bladder issues so shes better off put in her area at night since we cant keep an eye on her. The gate works well. The only issue I have noticed is after a year of use the lock that closes it is a bit hard to squeeze to open. One of our dogs is not to happy about the gate and has started to chew thought the bars on it. Hopefully you dont have this issue too because we may have to buy a new one soon. But having it for a year is not to bad.

Transformers Optimus Prime + Trailer Masterpiece MP-04 Action Figure Product Description:

  • Master Piece Collection
  • Diecast and Plastic
  • Import Item from Japan

Product Description

It's finally here the long-awaited and highly anticipated Masterpiece Optimus Prime (Convoy) with Trailer!! This highly detailed recreated in die-cast metal and plastic parts. Not your ordinary Hasbro Transformer. This version is highly poseable -- even his fingers are individually jointed! The vents on his legs open and close; the windows on his chest open to reveal his 'matrix'. And of course he transforms from Robot Mode to Vehicle Mode, flawlessly! Included weapons are his Energy Axe, Megatron Gun, and Laser Rifle; also included is a paper craft container (the inner box is printed and meant to be broken down to form the 'trailer' of the truck - instructions are on the sides), and a set of joint parts

5A must-have for any Transformers fan!
By Farhad Badri
First, note that this is NOT for children! It can be considered a toy, yes, but it's really more of a collector's item. Most people that have this probably put it up somewhere for display.Made of die-cast metal and plastic, this is THE definitive Optimus Prime toy. The transformation is complicated, but after a few times you'll get the hang of it. The detail on this figure is quite impressive, with fully moveable fingers, a moving mouthpiece, and all of his weapons (including the energy ax seen in the first episode). He even comes with a miniature transformed Megatron (in gun form to be held in his hand) for the few times the two have had to team up together. The MP-04 comes with an actual plastic trailer, as opposed to the MP-01 which had no trailer. The trailer is large enough to fit an alternator/binaltech transformer in vehicle mode (maybe two), and has a gun that can poke out over the top in vehicle mode. All in all this is hands-down the best Transformer ever, and its diecast metal makes it surprisingly durable. The memories that this toy will bring to fans of the original are priceless, and it is quite worth the cost. Highly recommended.

5The greatest transformer ever cartoon or toy.
By C-Flo
"Megatron must be stopped, no matter the cost." Optimus Prime Masterpiece-04 is a transformer that all diehard 80's transfomers fans should have in there collection. I've been waiting to get this for a long time. Optimus Prime is one of the main reasons why the 80't cartoon show was so sucessful and when people hear the word "Transformer" most of the time he is the first to pop in their minds. The leader of the autobots is just as great as ever before. Made out of part metal and plastic this adult toy is just super-tight. Comes complete with laser gun, megatron gun, laser battle axe, trailer, and the removable autobot matrix equipted in his chest. The transformation seems difficult at first, but is actuall easy and intintive after doing it about twice.I'm going to by the Starscream MP-03 next and I also heard of a Megatron MP-05 coming soon that transforms into an oversized MP38. I hoping the Takara comes out with a lot more of these. I would love to see a MasterPiece Soundwave, Ironhide, and all the constructacons the form a huge devestator. From other reviews I believe that the Starscream MP-03 will be as good as the Optimus Prime MP-04. "Autobots transform and rollout."

4This takes me back!
By J. DELBRIDGE
Only complaint is plastic parts stick and don't work like they're supposed to - I want to exert some force on it but was afraid it was going to break. However, I have only 'transformed' Optimus one time and I am hoping that after a few transformations it will loosen up some. The problem I had was on the leg, when I pressed the fuel tank it wouldn't release the leg to slide into truck-mode. Overall I am very impressed with it. Every detail was thought out. The tires are rubber, the wheels have shocks, his head has a moveable mouth button on the back of his head, and the weapons store in the trailer. Travel back 20 years and remember the original Optimus - it was never this cool!

5NS Design CR4 Viola
By Leo Volont
NS Design CR4 Violin and CR4 ViolaI had been reluctant to buy such an expensive electric violin... in a world where for the same money one could get a stellar first rate premium signature edition electric guitar. Yes, the Electric Violin market is a smaller market, but still the hesitation over price seemed entirely reasonable. When the WAV 4 Chinese NS Design models came out at bargain prices, I jumped and bought one and was largely happy with it (see my Amazon Reviews of the WAV 4 and the Fender FV3 vs the NS Design WAV4).I heard of people stringing violins for viola tuning (CGDA instead of GDAE) and was fascinated with the idea. I ordered a C string and strung it on the end of my FV3 and ran the other strings over a slot, leaving the E string off when I got to the end. I loved the viola tuning, but couldn't find a C string that sounded quite right with the other strings. Then it occurred to me that perhaps the best way to achieve viola tuning is with a real viola. Now, if one thought that the market for Electric Violins was small, well, the market for Violas is even more constricted. I kept returning to the NS Design, and because the CR Series describes so well in their own promotional literature, and because the On Line Reviews were so favorable, I decided to order an NS Design CR4... after a few drinks, of course.Amazon often resorts to The Electric Violin Shop for some of these items, and so I went directly to their site. I remembered that months ago I had inquired about ordering a Bridge Electric Violin from their store and was annoyed that my particular island out on the High Seas was not included on their address drop down list... making the order impossible to conduct as per usual. I complained in their Contact Us Box and then quickly forgot about getting the Bridge Violin anyway... the pretty colored ones were all sold out, leaving only the ugly colors available, and not at reduced pricing either... full price for the ugliest things you would ever not hope to see. Anyway, you wouldn't believe what happened! These wonderful people took my harsh suggestions to heart and fixed the addressing problem. When I went to order the NS Design CR4 Viola, there it was, my Island was on the drop down list... which was when I remembered how hard I had been on them (remember I had had a few drinks). Of course, with my order, I included a heart felt apology as well as expressions of my deepest gratitude for appreciating my business and preparing for it.With orders of that price, the ordinary mails of the United States can not be trusted... it seems that the Ordinary Mail Service can hire thieves to work at much lower rates than honest men and women, and at the end of the day the Ordinary Postal Service doesn't need to worry about delivering quite so much as they would if their low wage employees didn't pick through it all at first. So The Electric Violin Shop uses premium shippers, adding almost $200 to the Order, but my CR4 arrived almost the same day, except that Thanksgiving Day intervened. The Sales Lady had included a nice little hand written note thanking me for my business and wishing me luck. I think I will be a return customer to that particular Electric Violin Shop.I had read a CR4 Review before which spoke of an NS Design Violin arriving in tune. Well, so did mine. Plugged into my existing Electric Violin settings and sound systems, I was playing in a manner of minutes.Oh, if you read my older Reviews, you will find that I have had problems supporting the heavier electric violins, that is, just holding them up in a position to play, and they tend to slip slide around a lot. Its all rather distracting and takes a great deal away from the Music. So I did take about 20 minutes to fashion a Violin Choker, patent pending (see my other reviews on the WAV and the Fender FV3), out of a key ring, and key ring clip, and some cotton cloths line rope and cotton string. I clip it through the NS Design Shoulder Rest bracket and it holds the Viola very closely under my chin. The Viola remains so steady, I don't even need to use the chin rest. The volume knob on the CR4 works well... on some instruments the resistance of the volume potentiometer seems ill selected, as not much actual volume range is covered using the instruments volume knob, and one has to make all of the big volume changes at the amplifier and processor stages. There are two tuner controls. The first should be labeled "BETTER" and the second one labeled "WORSE"... the first does away with that harsh electric sound, and the second one heaps more of it on. Anyway, the CR4 can probably be dialed in pretty close to whatever it is you are looking for, even before outputting to whatever processors and effects units are awaiting down-line.Fit and finish is really superb. I knew that the NS Design CR4 had active electronics and so must have had a battery, but did not immediately see where the battery access panel was, or even how to get into the string bay, as I had done with the WAV 4. But eventually the little retainer bracket moveable tab attracted my attention, and when I moved the tab off to the side, the battery and string bay cover fell right off. You know, the entire back panel and battery string cover had fit so well together, I had thought it had been one entire piece. I had actually been set to take a screwdriver to the whole thing. The wood, body and finger board are excellent and attractive. You know, I confess to using olive oil on my fingers to speed up my fingering and make modulating the strings easier, and this is the first time ever that a new violin has not turned my finger inky black. That means that after their last staining of the fingerboard they had actually taken the time to do a fine sandpapering of the fingerboard... it was so nice and smooth. Usually I have to do that kind of fine detailing myself, but they had done it for me. Thank God, for a change.Oh, and the strings seem fine. Usually one has to toss that the strings that come with these things, But NS Design used what sound like premium steel chrome wound strings.I had complained of the WAV4 being stiff and inflexible... not giving much of a sense for player `feel', but the CR4, at least the Viola (I haven't played the CR4 Violin but imagine it is quite similar in all regards), seemed to have flexibility... that when using some strength and force in modulating the strings, the violin actually bends in a bit... a great perception of playability and control... a rewarding `feel' to the instrument. One has to wonder how they did it... apparently the CR4's are not the same thick blocks of wood that the WAV models are.Now a word on Violas in general. I had heard it said that Violas, being larger, are therefore slower. Well, my Fender FV3 Violin measures from the nut to the bridge for a string length of 12 7/8 inches, while my Viola measures 14 1/4. That is not much of a difference... just ten percent. But it does seem to give me more Tonal Resolution, that is, it's easier to land on exactly the right note sweet spots, so to speak, even if one has to move a bit further to reach them. And when one rolls one's fingers to modulate notes, one can get in a much more vigorous wiggle without worrying so much about over-modulating. Anyway, after having played both Viola and Violin, and not to sound condescending, but the Viola seems more fit for men, while the violin seems better suited for the smaller hands of boys and girls.Oh, and as far as trading the Violin's high E String for the Viola's low C String ( violins are tuned to GDAE while violas are tuned down to CGDA ), while occasionally the lilting and ethereal E string has its valued uses, particularly when clustered together with other violins in concert, still in most cases that really piercing high string is used only because it is there, and the results are shrill and often clash with the other instrumentation. Bands are often afraid of including an Electric Violin, and only because they fear those wildly high E Strings stabbing into their brains by way of the ears. The Viola, however, with that C String on the low end, can reach some real bassy lows, and one can still finger far enough down on the high end A string to suggest the musical mood and intensity of Going High without actually going so high as to be positively annoying. My feeling is that if Violas became better known, they would certainly become more popular, and would largely replace the violin everywhere but in concert venue.

4I sure like mine...
By SixOfOneATL
I have a late-model version of this guitar but in amber burst and gold hardware - Korean-made, which I expect this one is also. It was bought used from a friend/co-worker.I had handled his guitar when he brought it to work one day and found it solid and smooth but I wasn't interested in it per se. But when I found myself in the market rather suddenly (friend of my daughter's wanted to take guitar lessons - but only from me!) I tried a new Gibson Les Paul and quite frankly, found it wanting: finish didn't feel good, pots were chintzy - disappointing. But I thought of the Dean and said to myself, "mahogany; set neck; 'buckers in a four-knob arrangement...would I not be in the ballpark?"These Cadillacs are very neck-heavy; the long large headstock guarantees this. But I didn't *realize* it was neck-heavy until I tried a slippery strap; use one that is suede-ey or somewhat unfinished leather on the bottom and you'll never know. I have found that the headstock's mass often makes me want to shake-vibrato whole chords.Access to the upper frets is a little bit compromised by the neck heel; a strap that doesn't narrow down at the end exacerbates this; the strap button is attached at the heel and points backward. I use a rough-bottomed leather strap with an adjustable sling turned backward so that the sling part goes to the heel button. The string angles at the nut are a little extreme and you really must lube it with Nut Sauce or something similar; even plain strings will catch. If you are thinking about a whammy bar, you *must* have a locking nut and I can't tell you for sure if there even is one that can accommodate the angles. I've decided against trying it.I should point out that my friend had had an active EMG kit (pull-knob single-coil switches for bridge and neck) put in place of the stock pickups. When my friend did the AMG kit, he just dropped the battery in the control cavity wrapped in foam and electrical tape; I had a proper pop-out battery holder installed and am much happier. I can get a bit into Strat and Tele territory in single-coil mode; all in all, there's a lot of flexibility with this kit.So I would tell you, if you like the combination rad/trad look of this guitar and you like Les-Paul-like guitars as a class, *buy* the guitar; *try* the guitar. Use the additional money you might have spent to get a Gibson and try a pickup kit you like the idea of, passive or active. Because I have come to know my Cadillac with the EMGs and really, really enjoy it, I will probably never change them out, but you would do well to think of this guitar as a test bed for LP-style pickup/control combinations...there are so many wonderful choices!

4Too much vibration for infant
By Vu-uyen Luong
Negatives:1. Doesn't come with small head pillow; therefore, it's not good for infants under 3 months (unless you use your own blankets to support the head)2. The vibration is very strong for ifants under 2months.3. The music part has stopped working on the bouncer after 6 months.Positives:1. The music is very stimulating and soothing2. My son really enjoyed it between 3-6 months.3. It's light and easy to move from roon to room.

5Great bouncer
By meev2
My son loves this bouncer and so do I. The bright-colored spiders slowly and slightly move up and down and are just the right size and colors to keep his attention and keep him busy "talking/singing" with them. The toy bar is perfectly positioned for the baby to kick and/or grab the toys and it is removable for easy in-and-out with the baby. The music is quite pleasant so I usually keep it running all the while it is keeping my baby busy. This bouncer definitely does me the favor of allowing me to get things done while keeping my baby happy. I highly recommend this product.

3Mildly amusing for baby
By Mel Bridges
My baby girl does not last long in this bouncer. She finds the spider interesting for a few minutes but then looks elsewhere in the room. I read some of the favorable reviews about how fascinated babies can be with the moving spiders. So I searched high and low in the stores for this bouncer. Too bad my baby is content for only up to half an hour when placed in this chair. Then the crying protests begin.Good features:* Lightweight and easily moveable from one room to another* Music is hummably good and not as annoying as music in other baby gadgets* Chair really bounces wellMissing features which would have made purchase worthwhile:* Five-point harness: I don't care if other parents think it is unnecessary and cumbersome to use; there would be less chances of the baby falling out of the chair or making it topple if the shoulders were restrained.* A padded insert so you can wash it when (and not if) the baby messes the chair with various fluids.* Two or more reclinable positions. Presently the chair is a bit high but not high enough for my girl to reach the spiders. When she is able to reach the spiders, I believe she will have outgrown the chair.* Chair seems on the flimsy side if you have a larger-weighted baby. I would not feel good about a baby weighing more than 15 pounds seated on this bouncer for safety concerns. On the other hand, I know that the chair's design is to bounce and so it has to be on the flexible side. Still one can wish for stronger materials than these thin bars that form the base of the chair.I would have paid more dinero for the bouncer if these features were built-in. The Baby Bjorn chair almost reeled me in, but because it is rather plain and doesn't have these cute-looking spiders or something highly colorful to amuse the baby, I opted for this one. I guess Fisher-Price wanted to keep this bouncer cheap.

5Just what I was looking for
    By geargoesdown
Easy to install! Gives me more use of my boat in the winter. I live in the south were temps almost never go below freezing for a few hours and gives me peace of mind that the engine compartment is nice and toasty!

    5Great compact engine room heater
    By Ciscoguy
Installed as a pair... Worked well to help delay winterization and keep the diesel engines ready to start when temps dipped into in the low 20's last month. Recommended.

Fully lathed top and bottom with precision machine hammering and a traditional finish.

Bold, bright and melodic sound from the ZHT bronze alloy.

    The Zildjian ZHT Series
For their most advanced and musical Sheet Bronze cymbals, Zildjian started with the heart of the cymbal--the bronze alloy. By increasing the percentage of tin in the sheet alloy from 8% to 12%, they got significantly more balanced frequency response, lush overtones and a very attractive appearance. Ultra-modern crafting techniques, and extensive hammering have created a more musical sound than previously found in a Zildjian Sheet Bronze cymbal. ZHT is the only Zildjian Sheet Bronze series in a traditional finish, and features popular Zildjian Cast Bronze models.

    • Alloy: Ultimate Sheet Bronze: 88% Copper, 12% Tin
    • Hammering: Precision machine hammering.
    • Lathing: Fully lathed top and bottom.
    • Finish: All Traditionally finished. Only Zildjian Sheet Bronze Series with Traditional finish.
    • Sound: Bold, bright and melodic sound. Our most musical Sheet Bronze Series.

    Zildjian Bronze Technology
Zildjian Sheet Bronze Cymbals begin as pre-formed disks cut from metal with uniform thickness. Precision hammering and shaping pummels cymbal discs, loosening the alloy's molecular structure and freeing up its distinctive tone. Sheet Bronze cymbals have a very fast response with a quick decay, along with excellent durability and a consistent sound within each respective model. Affordably priced, Sheet Bronze cymbals make a great choice for beginners and pros alike.

5Great cymbal, especially for a lowwer budget.
    By Diane Kapustka
This cymbal (for $99) is an extremely great cymbal. I've been playing for a little less than six months (as of today, which is december 18th, '07) i actually bought this at a drum store for 90, but still, this cymbal is extremely good. It has a moderate decay and actually sounds pretty good as a ride (but i dont use it as one) if you've been playing for less than maybe 2 or 3 years, this is ThE cymbal for you, perfect for beginners to intermediates than have an alright budget.
