size runs large

I had to return mine at a cost of 20 bucks. I ordered the size I normally wear but these Crossroads ran big and I was swimming in them. There is no padding inside like many shoes and sneakers.

Could be better

I purchased these boots for an upcoming trip to the Blue Ridge and Smokey Mountians. I wanted to upgrade my old beat up riding boots and these seemed to be the perfect choice. Out of the box they were as expected and fit true to size and where very comfortable. After the first day of riding, much of which was in the rain, the boots began to fall apart. By that I mean the front tip on one shoe began to separate and on the other boot I managed to put a slice in the material on the top part of the shoe. They have gone down hill from there. We did do soome hiking in the mountains which put some additional wear and tear on the boots but again nothing they couldn't handle. I am not easy of shoes buy certainly not that hard either. I guess my expections were higher. I should have returned them upon the conclusion of my trip but never got around to it and are still riding with them. They are worth a shot if you plan to baby them, but if you intend to beat the crap out of your riding boots like I do, try a different manufacturer.

Very poorly made.

I'm a outdoor nature photographer and on my knees quite often. After just ONE wearing, the material around the steel toe completely wore off on both shoes. I returned them immediately.
