Great screen, super price
By James C. Kelley
I just installed this screen and am very pleased with it. The shipping box was more than ample, the white screen housing was flawless and it was shipped fast.Regarding the power cord, there is maybe an 8 ft length of cord, a remote/connection box and then another 6 or 8 ft. of additional cord with a grounded, 3 wire plug. It is important to point out that the screen is ready to use out of the box with no wiring required other than plugging into an outlet. There are two hooks on the casing for very quick installation from the ceiling and screw slots for wall installation. You will likely need to spend a couple bucks for additional hooks/screws/fasteners to accommodate your particular situation. The box in the middle of the cord allows hooking up the included white wall control with wire if you wish (flush mount to most any flat surface with included sticky tape back). If your projector is so equipped there is also a jack on the screen control box for inputting 12 volt universal control (l-o-n-g wire included!) that will lower the screen when your projector is turned on and raise the screen when the projector is turned off - very slick! The motor is whisper quiet and allows screen limits to be adjusted in both the up and down stop position if you wish to change the factory limits - a very important feature.Besides the included wall screen control with UP, DOWN, STOP buttons, there are TWO remotes! Both are identical except one is IR (line of sight) and one is UHF for through the wall screen control. I simply use the UHF remote and hid the power cable and control box for an invisible installation. I did notice a faint smell the first time I unrolled the screen. No smell after a day or two though! How's it look? The screen is bright, no hots spots, with an extremely flat surface when rolled down. The picture quality is superb! We had some folks over for dinner, sat em down afterwards and I lowered this huge, monster screen like an invasion from the ceiling. There was silence in the room at first. Then some sighs, then some remarks as the DVD started playing a movie on a 100"+ diagonal screen with Bose 5.1 audio and an additional JBL 250 watt subwoofer. "Wow", "amazing", "oooh - my - gawd", and other remarks that cannot be repeated here were heard. And then - - silence again with all eyes glued to the mammoth screen. What's the saying? We were all "dumbed with amazement bordering on stupification". Size does matter folks and this screen is home theater on steroids!

Excellent prodcut
By P. J. Hauser
I've had this screen up for a few weeks and I'm extremely pleased with it. Prior to this, I was using some white Roc-lon "project fabric" from the fabric store which was working well. But I wanted a motorized mount to allow easy access to the area behind the screen. I was pleasantly surprised that the picture quality was improved compared to my DIY version. It's really a great product for the money. Actually, even if you spend more to get a better screen, the "better" screens also usually come with more limitations, such as limited viewing positions and projector placement options. For example, some screens require the project to be table mounted for the best reflection to the viewers. With this unit, I've got my Panasonic PT-AX100U mounted on the ceiling and it works excellent. There are no hot-spots and the picture looks great from any viewing angle, sitting or standing. So the bottom line is that this screen is perfect for my needs and it's just a bonus that it is affordable as well.

Great screen, great price
By Nonousa
Setting up a home theater in my basement. I wanted a big electric screen to go with it. This one is great, so quiet and unlike other screens I have read reviews on, it do snot have any smell to it.The only downside to it is that the power cord is set by default on the left side so if all your outets ar eon the right, it might be a problem.Other than that, it is great for the price.
