AFW’s Stainless Steel Trolling Wire is soft single strand wire carefully annealed for maximum flexibility and strength. The line sinks rapidly allowing the angler to get down deep using shorter lengths of line. It is kink and abrasion resistant and ideal for both fresh and saltwater trolling. The high strength of 300 series stainless steel results in a small diameter per pound test providing greater reel capacity. Great for reaching Stripers and other fish in deep waters.

I've been wire line fishing for 51 yrs.and nothing beats wire for getting down deep for stipers n blues in the northeast.whether stainless or monel or inconel all have their drawbacks.But as I said when using umbrellas ,plugs,parachutes or bucktails,wire puts the meat in the boat.And as a commercial fisherman for 30yrs[rod n reel] outside of fresh bait,wire fills the coolers.

I use this for making heavy beaded boot bracelets. It is woven stainless steel, very flexible and every bit as strong as advertised. It does not stretch. Will fit through beads with 2mm holes. I don't have to worry about customers reporting that their bracelets fell apart.

Great trolling line for deep or shallow applications, but don't let it kink, or you will lose all strength and then loose fish.
