Masane Amaha 1:6 statue
By Aaron Sheridan
Im going to review this item becuse the other guys uses up scale words to say nothing about the item ....To start this statue looks great I personly like the wild red hair she also has a violent yet soft look to her....I like to take them out of the box and you should too she looks so much better out of the box than in .... you do half to put her hair on the 4 stands that are comen around her and she comes with 2 blades one big and the other broke looking.... I am not in to witchblade but i thought this statue was to cool to pass up so if your like me and just collect pvc or like WB you should get your self one note they are hard to find so grab it while its here. and lets face it if your reading this your alredy interested. hope this helps

Nice figure but false scale
By Pitviper
After all the hype about this figure, I decided to get one. Fortunately Amazon is the only place I can find this figure available. This is probably the most expensive anime figure I have owned so far. Two years ago I can't even dream of spending more than $20 on a plastic figure.Though, the figure has a very sexy post and very apppealing with no seam line anywhere, I cannot give a high rate on the overall quality. The one I have received, has a couple of flaws from the factory. One, is that her right heal has came off and stuck at her right pelvic in the sealed package. I think it can be reattached but I'm not ready to open the box yet. Secondly, there is a black glob of paint (I think), about 1/8" in size stuck on her hair that came over to the front. Now, the major disaapointment is that Orchid Seed had lied about the scale. This figure is NOT 1/6 scale as advetised, it is actually 1/7 scale or might even 1/8 scale, unless Musane is a very tiny heroine. The figure stands about 8 1/2" tall or 22 cm. from head to toe not counting extended hair. I have compared with the 1/7 scale Ignis figure from Max Factory and other 1/7 scale figures, Musane is still a tad bit smaller than the others. I believe Orchid Seed measured Musane with her long blade attached which would be about 40 cm total in hight and declared it (duh..) 1/6 scale. If only this figure come in a life size..Hmmm

Great figure, won't disappoint if you're a WB fan

This is the Orchid Seed version of Masane in her Witchblade form. There are a couple different versions of her from different manufacturers. Kotobukiya has one, and Alter... after wanting to purchase the Kotobukiya version and unable to find it without paying extortionist prices, I decided to hold off.I'm glad I did, because as nice as Kotobukiya's version is, I ended up liking this one more. Kotobukiya's version of Masane in her "looking over the shoulder pose", while enticing and provocative, does not have the feeling of kinetic energy that this one has. However, as others have said, the scale is definitely not 1/6. And I would go so far as to say it's not even 1/7. It's probably not quite as small as 1/8 though, so I'd put it around 1/7.5. I have her next to another 1/7 figure and she's just a smidge smaller in stature. However that aside, the figure is beautiful. The painting is done quite well, and the hair tendrils add a dynamic feeling of motion to her. She looks dangerous with the long blade in and they got her eyes perfect. Her base is also quite nice, keeping the simple round translucent base that have been included with some of their other Witchblade figures. It is a small detail but it fits the figure nicely.Other accessories include the other blade which is very short, perhaps intended to look broken, I can't really tell. Perhaps it is just included for people with fixed height display shelving / cases. Either way, there isn't much in the way of additional accessories with this figure, unless you coun't the hair tendrils (which I don't since they are intended to be on the figure at all times).Speaking of which, the hair tendrils can be quite difficult to get into place since they seem to have been made to fit during the sculpt, and not taken in to account the thickness that the paint adds. Or perhaps it was meant to be so snug and that was by design. Either way, they fit, but it takes considerable force in some instances.I am pleased to add this figure to my small collection (I have a strict set of criteria for my collection so it is quite small).
