Fixed our problem
By M. Tedder
This circuit board was easy to install and fixed our problem of garage door opening by itself. It shipped fast and also included the wall switch which I had already replaced, so did not use.

Exactly as described, quick delivery
By Router user
Installed myself in about 20 minutes. Most of the time was making sure the wires were attached to the proper screws for the safety lights and door buttons. I marked them before I removed them from the three screws. Received the unit in about 3 business days (via USPS), must have shipped same day I ordered it. I went online and viewed a video of how to replace the unit first (google search). Have masking tape and marker to mark the wires as you remove them. Only one connector to the board easy to remove and reinstall. Highly recommend. Also comes with an additional wall button which I didn't need.

Great product
By David Vincent
The product comes with instructions and is actually an upgrade to the 15 year old device that it was replacing. Make sure you keep track of how the wires are connected on the old device for an easy install of the new one. The install is basically using a computer type of plug in and reattaching the wires to the same connections. The only difficulty is removing and reinstalling all of those screws. After installing this device and programming your garage remote for it, the opener will work fine. The instructions suggest a minor adjustment by sticking a one inch stick on the ground to see if the door will auto reverse if it touches the stick while closing, for emergency reasons. I did not do this step and the door works great. Saved on the retail price and the cost of labor, about $250. Just get somebody with basic electronic knowledge and patience.
