Best Blanket in the World

When I received this blanket and opened it, I was immediately disappointed. It was so thin I thought I could punch through the material and there was no way it would be warm. I was SOOOOO WRONG!. This is the softest, warmest, lightest blanket I have ever touched. WELL worth the money. It has become the family favorite blanket. Now I have to fight for my turn with it on the couch. Must have MORE. I was worried that the price was to high for a blanket so I shopped around. For the size and the quality of the blanket this is a VERY good price. I recommend this blanket to anyone! AAA

Just got the Alpaca Wool throw blanket in Muted Ochre and uploaded a photo of what it looked like. People say the threaded edge looks cheap, but I liked what they called a "matching" thread edge, in this case, black thread. This blanket is to me about as thin as my U.S. military issue gray wool blanket that I was issued during boot camp. However, it certainly is less itchy and more warm than my G.I. wool blanket. I have a high velocity fan on a table that on its lowest setting is comparable to the high setting on a cheap $20 box fan. So it puts out quite a bit of wind. My usual blanket is one that is somewhat bulky due to the filling inside. I took that off my bed and placed this Alpaca wool blanket on myself. It blocked the air and provided the same amount of warmth as my regular blanket without the bulk. It was also more soft. Now my only worry is, as pointed out by some reviews, that this thing will shed a lot as well as the sharp claws from cats and dogs alike when I'm not in my bed.Update: The blanket shed a little. However, my sister had left two still nursing kittens in a crate outside her house to die because she didn't want to deal with them. I rescued them. They are now 14 weeks old. However, when I first got the blanket, the female kitten started to try and nurse from the blanket. I don't know if it was a combination of the softness or the nice smell the blanket had, but she was biting at it and kneading at the same time. I got her away from the blanket. However, a few hours ago when I went to go to bed, I caught her trying to nurse from the blanket again. Using her teeth and claws, she has completely unraveled parts of the blanket. I now have a blanket full of holes from her escapades. It was a nice blanket =(

I love love LOVE my Alpaca blanket. These are quality blankets that are soft and warm and they breathe!And they are so beautiful.I had a down comforter but the feathers got everywhere. I was considering wool but it's so itchy and expensive.It's true once you buy one of these you'll want more. I'll be ordering a couple more to have around for winter.Cannot recommend these blankets enough.
