Bose amplifier fix

The amplifier worked perfectly and was shipped and packed both safely and securely. It was extremely difficult to install and it would have helped to have instructions included with the product.The dealer price for the part along with the installation was $689. I saved about $500 by buying the part on Amazon and installing it myself.

Great to have my sound system back again

Despite the fact that GM made it hard to get to the unit to replace by burying it under the center console, it works great now that we have it installed. Really happy to have my Bose sound system back again ....

Fantastic product

Replaced the amplifier under the center console. I replaced it due to intermittent radio and vehicle warning chimes (such as door chime, or key in ignition). I bought a 7mm ratcheting wrench from a local tool store that made the job 100 times easier. Use the wrench for the forward two bolts (you will have to feel for them and do this portion 'blind'). A 7mm socket with an extension worked fine for the remaining two rear mount bolts. This method avoided me having to remove the entire center console, I only removed the center storage compartment (lift the rubber mat to access the other screws) and the face of the rear entertainment control (flip the cup holder down to access the necessary screws). Removing the rear face will allow the amp to slide rearward and out.This was purchased as a direct replacement for Bose amplifier part# 15054673, and was a genuine ac delco factory part.

Quiet as a mouse

I just replace the rear brake pads on my 2002 odyssey and these work great so far. They feel solid under braking and there is absolutely no sound no even when breaking them in. There was zero break in time, my first test brake was quiet and strong. I cannot comment much on how these compare to OEM rear pads because the majority of the braking is done by the front brakes in cars, but I plan on using these from here on out. Once I replace the front pads on any of my cars I will leave another review.

I now have these on my front and rear of my 08 F150. Easy to install yourself, perfect fit to OEM. Simple bedding procedures. Noticed a minor improvement in braking power from OEM.

Great stopping power when needed

I run these on an '06 F-150 Supercrew with 6' bed and 20" chrome rims (heavier than factory units). I have a 14 mile commute every day in rush hour freeway traffic so having upgraded brakes to quickly stop with the surrounding traffic is a MUST. I also tow enclosed motorcycle trailers 4-8 times a year between 2,000-4,500lbs. so factory rotors with these brakes really help with the stopping distances. Only down side is significant more brake dust versus factory pads but well worth it in my opinion.

Perfect fit

Fits perfectly in the PT Cruiser, has a bellows type flexible joint instead of the steel wool packing used in the OEMChrysler converter ( which leaked ). No major problems installing it except for the heat shields.

So Far So Good

I just purchased these for my car and installed them this weekend. The pads came in a durable box and were shrink wrapped together with either rubber bands holding the pads together or some other type of fastener. This made sure the pads arrive undamaged (so they were banging around in the box) but the shrink wrap and fastener were easy to remove once I got to work. They also included some lubricant that you apply to the points of contact between the pad and caliper to compensate for any potential rubbing or noise which was a nice touch. Now I cannot speak to performance and durability yet hence the 4 stars instead of 5 but so far the pads seem to be responsive and solid. I do need to break them in further but if they continue to work as I expect them too I would easily say 5 stars instead of 4.
