Matches Original Exactly, Fast Shipping

This fit perfectly in my 2000 VW GTI VR6 and looks virtually identical to the original.I cut off about 4 inches of the end of the pipe to fit with the "wraparound" type pipe union that was in place. The last few inches of the original pipe were slightly enlarged and split to fit over another pipe. It was difficult to get the pipe over the car body strut, and I think it would have been even harder if I had not cut off the 4 inches. When I was all done, and I shook the whole muffler system, I could make it bang against the car body at one point. Ideally I would have torn it all apart and cut off about another 3/8 inch, but I'll see if it makes noise on the road.I ordered on a Monday and it came by noon on Thursday, even though the estimate was Friday. The "your order has shipped" email came AFTER I received the muffler!The buying page said that myautopartswholesale was the seller, but the rest of the communications said AutoShepard. Perhaps they are the same company.
