The ProTech 7035-SL lithium battery powered carbon monoxide alarm includes an LCD digital display, electrochemical sensor, and locked battery compartment. Automatically displays current carbon monoxide level detected from 40-600pm. Manually displays the current and highest CO level detected from 10 to 600ppm, including time duration of peak carbon monoxide level. Unique restraining flange secures detector to mounting plate to deter unwanted removal. Sensor Life Monitor alerts you when sensor life has expired. Five year limited factory warranty for alarm and battery. The Pro-Tech 7035-SL carbon monoxide alarm is listed to ANSI/UL 2034-09 and certified to CSA/IAS 6-96 2nd Edition. The perfect CO alarm -

ProTech 7035-SL Sealed Lithium Powered Carbon Monoxide Alarm with DisplayAfter deciding I needed to protect my family from a CO mishap, I researched the options with regard to price and features. This alarm was a standout in terms of reputation for quality and sensitivity. This battery powered version is especially highly regarded by pilots who need the earliest possible warning of a problem so they can set down before become disoriented or even passing out. The ProTech 7035-SL has a meter which registers even the smallest amounts of CO in the air, and so is an excellent choice for giving a very early warning. The price of this unit is not that much higher than the typical consumer versions but its reliability and features are rated way above those. I decided that anything less than this was no more than a way to get a false sense of safety, and so chose this as the perfect alarm for my family.

I really like the way this ProTech 7035-SL Lithium Powered Carbon Monoxide Detectors with Digital Readout and Locked Battery Compartment works. The old one that had from a different manufacturer had a battery that constantly failed and the indicator was not clear. The digital readout is much better then the flashing light. This new lithium powered one provides a better sense of security and comfort because the digital reading is clear and specific and much better then the light flashing so its been a worthwhile switch to me.

Item arrived very quickly and was exactly as described. So far the item has lived up to all of my expectations. One problem that I have had with "other" Carbon Monoxide detectors in the past, is that the lithium battery starts to fail after a year. The battery here is supposed to last up to five years. I am anxious to see if this lives up to expectations. Again, so far this item has been great, and I would reccomend it to others........
