EXCELLENT NON COLOR LASER PRINTER

This the second or third Lexmark printer that I have owned. It is also the most expensive by over $ 150.00.The lack of an owner's manual makes it harder to learn the inner working of the printer and is the only negative factor about the printer.I happen to have a second computer and still was not impressed because Lexmark's solutions usually do not work without some trial and error experience.It is also hard to order toner since Lexmark does not make it clear if the correct toner is being purchased. A good example is Amazon, which sells a toner that is supposed to work with several Lexmark printers and that may be true. What is left out is the way the toner list names the toner will fit 250, not E250DN.Maybe Lexmark only markets one 250, but you will have to reseach to make sure that the right toner is being purchased. Lexmark sits does not list a toner for this printer.The printer works fine and is one of few left with the old LPT1 port to help troubleshoot any USB problem. The printer has both ports.You should be aware that it is not a color printer but unless color is important, that is a small point. I compare it to the old Dell 1500 Laser printer except the Lexmark is much faster but not as trouble free as the Dell 1500 printer.
