Good cheap screen
By Alexander Chemerys
I bought this based on its $99 price and reviews here on Amazon. I did read other folks had issues with broken end caps upon arrival.I found out why. The end caps that hold the hooks are EXTREMELY fragile. I pulled it out of its well packed box and the one end landed on my carpeted floor at a hight of about 4-6 inches and the endcap and hook broke off.It was my fault, but it shouldn't have broken that easily. However, it prompted me to not rely on the hook it came with. I took metal picture hanging wire and wrapped it around the ends and then wrapped it around my hooks on the wall. I followed it up with zip ties. I did it in such a way that all you see is the thin wire wrapped around once. This was my first projection with my Optima HD66 and the picture is terrific. The return roll up is a bit tough to work. It works about as good as those old window shades that you had to keep pulling down further to finally go up. The room I have it in, I don't plan on rolling it back up. So if you want to open and close it on the regular, just be aware of this. It is possible that b/c it is new, it will get better, but I haven't had it long enough to report.Baring the cheap end caps, and hard to roll up, I am still very happy with the screen. No wrinkles, picks up the image well. So I gave it 4 stars just due to the above stated. Great economical screen for your first projection.

excellent screen
By Kwisatz Haderack
This screen is excellent. I had made my own screen previously, but after a few months it developed some folds that started to affect the image, so I decided to finally invest in a retractable screen. This screen is huge, but the difference is well worth it. Be aware that it is also very, very heavy, and is you're planning to hang it from the ceiling you better buy yourself a stud finder first to make sure you have a secure anchor point for the hook hangers you will have to buy to hang the screen. The hanging loops are very close to the edges of the screen, so if you find out the horizontal measurement of the screen you plan to buy you can look for studs in your ceiling at about the same width at your home to see if you have a secure place to hang it from.

Good Screen
By Scott P. Hicks
I bought this screen to upgrade from a smaller (Da-Lite standard 4X3) screen. The screen came quickly and without any damage to the screen. It is about the same weight as my Da-Lite 100" screen, but not as deep (it doesn't stand out from the wall as much). I have found two ripples on the screen (not too big) that cause the screen to curve outward on the edges. This (the curve) does not affect the picture at all, it is only noticeable when the lights are on. The two ripples (diagonal from the sides to the bottom) aren't big, but are at times noticeable during scrolling parts of a show. This shows me that this screen might not be as high a quality Da-Lite, but it's much cheaper and it works ok for my basement.
