The Konfidence Youth Jacket is designed to aid in swimming instruction. The Konfidence Jacket features 8 removable floats which allow the user to adjust the level of buoyancy. Non-swimmers can gradually reduce the level of buoyancy as they become more comfortable in the water.

Great jacket for learning to swim

My friend is in her 30s, doesn't know how to swim, and wants to learn. I was concerned that even the small adult jacket would be too big, so we got her the 12-14 year old jacket since she is petite (5'3" and 110 lbs). The jacket fit perfectly and we just got back from our first swim. She went from being afraid to let go of the side of the pool, to paddling around the whole pool within 10 minutes. This is a terrific product. It has 8 removable floats in it so we'll start removing them as she gains more skill and confidence.
