Works as adverised
By jhenry
This works as advertised. Check soil conditions before using. Damp soil to moist is best. If you take a sample of soil with a trowel... should stick together.. not dry. Place at least 160# of weight on tray-- it handles more than what mfg. states. You need weight for decent plugs. Do not BACK UP with this unit engaged in soil-- you will bend the hitch. If in gravely soil, check spoons often for inbedded stones. You will need a 22 HP+ lawn tractor to pull this implement fully loaded. This is a resedential level plugger... if doing more than 4 acres at a time look elsewhere-- but a well built implement for the price (consumer). The knives are not carborized-- only zinc plated steel-- but will suffice for homeowner use. Highly recommend for superior construction and results. Assembly not an issue-- even if you have simple tools (3 hrs as some users state??? lol 1 hr tops)-- learn how to use a wrench! Happy plugging-- this implement rocks for the dollars invested.

Works like a champ
By Ridgley Resources
Although it took three of us a while to put it together, the assembly was straightforward. With four concrete blocks sitting horizontally and bungeed on, it worked well. I was able to aerate my two acre yard in about an hour. The ground was damp, but not muddy and it made perfect plugs. I made passes at 90 degrees to each other in some open areas. You have to be careful not to let it tip backward when unhitched, but otherwise, it's easy to use.I was pleased and plan to use it again next spring. I'd recommend it to anyone.

All I expected and more.
By K. Murray
Just finished assembling the Agri Fab Smartlink platform and plugger. The assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired. Assembly was a bit much for one person, but Agri Fab can't be held responsible for my short sightedness. After it was assembled, I found the operation to be as advertised. The plugger worked well. My favorite part of the system is I detached the plugger and attached the dethacher to work on my mother-in-law's yard. It worked like a charm too. It's great having two yard tools that take up so little space. I will be purchasing the roller attachement later this week.I definatley would advise others to purchase the platform. It works as well, if not better, than a dedicated tool.
