Powerful yet compact ionizer

This item is compact, yet powerful enough and requires minimal cleaning. There are no filters to replace, so once you buy you only pay some pennies on electricity. It also produces small amounts of ozone, which is an excellent odor remover. Unfortunately, the ozone isn't optional, and too much of it isn't healthy.It has a "high" and "low" state, and a fan which could be turned off.What I like about it is that it can be placed anywhere in the house, since it's small. Compare that to the Ionic Breeze Quadra ionic towers, which need a lot of space.As a bonus, you can connect it to the car - even leave it overnight (but you would have to open the windows in the morning to let the ozone out). In my opinion, it is too big for a car - but I have a small compact car, not a SUV. It can be used to remove odors from cars (or rooms), since the ozone does that.What I wished were differently - as I've written - is the ozone output to be made optional.Overall, this is a worthy investment, I heard about people ordering a buch of them - five or so (one for each room) - it is cheaper and healthier than an expensive big home unit.

Worked well until it died

I purchased this product and it worked well and was very quite, for about 3 months before it completely died - just stopped working, no fan, no lights, nothing worked one day.

I bought this for a gift for a friend who had a smoke odor and other stale odors in her apartment. She hated sleeping in her apt because the neighbor smoked and it came into her apt. Shorty after I gave her this wonderful machine she called me to tell me how happy she is and that all the smoke is gone and is thrilled at the change of the apt. She found a great place on a tall dresser under the vent to put it and it does a wonderful job. I too own one and use it in my kitchen area. I love it. It is also light weight so when I travel I take it with me to motels and other homes. It makes my life of breathing so much better. It is so easy to clean. I also noticed the complaints of others about the turn on button. Mine recently doesn't start but I found if I work on it it eventual does come back on. I have had mine for a long years and have given them as gifts too. oh, and it is very quiet you don't know it is in the room unless you decide to use the fan. I found I don't need the fan and I can smell the ionizing in my living room too. It is very easy to clean the blade too. I love it. Wish they didn't stop making this model. EEE
