Not for all ages

I'm not the biggest Sonic fan in the world but I saw these figures at KB Toys, thought they were very animated and aesthetically pleasing, and noticed they were on sale for just $5.99 each. So i decided to scoop up the entire set of 4 and bring them home with me. Looks like i got myself a deal, as i've noticed that most online outlets are charging upwards of $20 a piece for these figures. Though upon further inspection, i've also noticed that this series looks eerily similiar to the Megabot, Space Fighters,and Classic series figures. Guess you can say if you've seen one Sonic action figure you've probably seen them all.Each of these figure stands approximately 5' tall and comes with their own weapon. Both the knees and torso are moveable as is both shoulders, the elbow on the non-weapon arm, and the heads. The Sonic/Shadow heads are made of soft plastic, the Tails/Knuckles heads are made of hard plastic. The lighting fixture is located in the hand and can be turned on via a button located on the back or hip.The figures use a 1.5 volt battery and it can be replaced should it die. Though i don't see why anyone would want to. Without the weapon in hand, the light fixture is the equivelant of a heavy duty red laser pointer. Now i'm a grown man and i purchased these figures just to display around my desk and I have to admit i've accidently fumbled the thing and lasered myself in the eye quite a few times just trying to insert the weapons into the hands. So you can imagine the high probability of your children momentarily blinding themselves should they accidently press the button while playing with the figures.So if you plan on purchasing these figures for your children, i would highly recommend that you check out the MegaBot or Classic series instead. It's more or less the same thing, just minus a heavy duty laser pointer. Although i have to admit the weapons do look great in the dark when lit up.

give the corolla a little jump.

Ill make this brief. I put mine in, ran the hosing underneath the car like it suggests, install everything as required. I have a CEL, i believe it is thrown because too much oxygen. Who'da thunk it? It gives an audible jump. I drive a manual 08 S, and if im light on the gas you wont hear it, but you slam a little and you can hear it kick in, much louder than standard. I also noticed a bit of increase in gas mileage when i dont stomp it, probably about 2 more mpg. I'm not worried about the CEL, its just a light because of the air intake. Everything is installed fine. the filter is of high quality as well.

2008 Corolla Install

I have had this intake for about two weeks. After the initial install, I decided to take the car through its paces about four miles of back roads and four miles of interstate. The filter did fine until on the interstate; there it threw a check engine light. Worried, I returned home and plugged my OBD II reader in with no avail. I think my reader may be bad. I disconnected the negative battery terminal and waited for the morning. The car ran fine for the next four days with no CEL. Then I had to merge on the interstate today. I had to accelerate fast, and another check engine light. I think the engine is just too lean under these circumstances.Also, the cold air intake hose is not long enough. Using the provided instructions, I cannot understand how to route the house without cutting some of the the plastic cowling under the motor.In addition, the hose would be under the car. It would probably get full of road crud. I rerouted mine toward the air intake at the front bumper.The engine noise considerably increases with this mod.Finally, I hope to have better mpg and hp from this filter. With the commentary above, I cannot past judgement on the filter at this time. I have very good mechanical skills, so I do not believe this to be an install issue. I will be contacting K&N.I will update ASAP.

Not for American Toyotas

This intake kit is not for American Toyotas. It lacks a nipple to connect the EVAP system purge valve to the air intake. Although you could install it without hooking up the EVAP purge valve, it would not be street legal, and in any state that has emission tests, it would fail the test. Otherwise it is a quality item, made in the UK. Now for Corollas, this will not work with any manufactured before January 2002. That month they switched to a different filter box with a longer intake hose, which they used on the next generation Corollas. I have attached a picture of the newer filter box which it will work with, and the older filter it will not. Even if you jerry rigged this kit to work with the older intake hose, it will place the filter too close to the engine and you will be sucking in hot air, which you don't want. I have a 2002 Corolla with the older filter box and I returned the kit, not even trying to install it.

K&N FI Performance Kit Gen2

I installed this kit on my 2005 GMC Canyon SLE 3.5, 5 cylinder. Acceleration off the line was not significantly increased but when you get into the power band the increase is very noticeable. From around 3000 rpm up to 6000 rpm the torque and acceleration feel great. There is however, a significant increase in engine noise. It sounds like I changed my exhaust. If you are looking for increased performance I would recommend this kit!!

Ive Installed the intake and followed the instructions to the letterhours after install i threw the P0171 codeit is a run lean codeand i have been told to check for vacuum leaks but there are no leaksi love the power but hate the codes

HUGE PERFORMANCE, AGGRESSIVE SOUND!

2006 Hummer H3 3.5 I5First off idk why they put such a measly engine into a Hummer... BUT, this is an inexpensive way to boost HP, torque and fuel economy. I highly recommend. Easy install and it was fun doing. Sounds weird but working on your vehicle forms some sort of bond,anyway, engine noise was much more significant when reving the engine or flooring the pedal. Sounded like i added an exhaust system, keep that in mind when adding this.I have this and a Gibson exhaust and together they make for a very significant performance boost.

K&N 57i CAI for BMW m20 motor

This intake is made for the e30 models with six cylinder motors and fit my m20b25 perfectly. The instructions include other variations of the m20 motor as well. There is no heat shield with this kit. The included intake tube brings cold air from the front grill area directly to the filter, although in the case of my motor (build date of 10/92), the instructions for routing the tube didn't apply. So I "engineered" my own best route and how to secure the tube on each end. Otherwise the install instructions are excellent and all necessary hardware is included and is top quality. The adapter for the MAF meter is very good, but you do need to remove the studs and use the included bolts. Of course, you won't notice a big difference in horsepower or torque, but the motor does get more air, and the "whoosh" sound is invigorating on acceleration. Acceleration is improved, if only slightly. Haven't noticed any improvement in gas mileage. That may be a result of my foot mashing the accelerator more often to hear that wonderful intake sound. This isn't a mod that has to be done, but the benefits include dressing up the engine and a little more room in the engine bay after removing that huge OE filter box.

Great kit! Super easy install and make the engine bay look way better than having that big bulky restrictive air box. Car feels like it runs better now that it doesn't have to breath through a straw.

Difficult to install. No noticeable performance improvement.

Product arrived in an opened, shop-worn box, but all the parts were there. However, this particular unit was made in England, and came with British English installation instructions along with a UK tech support phone number. The instructions were vague, as were the illustrations. Photographs would have been more useful than the crude drawings. I eventually had to ditch the instructions and just figure out how to install it on my own. Installed, it looks great but there is no noticeable performance improvement. All things considered, I wish I'd paid a bit more for a Pipercross air intake.

Massive Difference

I have a 2003 2 Door Hyundai Accent 1.6L and this kit fit perfectly. When it fires up, the car sounds like it's breathing. No more restrictive housing holding the little Accent back. The sound is pretty impressive as well, being able to gulp in so much more air is instantly noticeable. Increase in horse power and miles per gallon (so long as you refrain from continually slamming the pedal to the floor). I looked online for cheaper air intake systems, but none could match the K&N million mile warranty. Plus with Amazon Prime it was here in 2 days for free. Be warned: This kit isn't CARB exempt, so keep your factory Air Intake to ensure passing smog.

Easy installation and saved $$

My truck would intermittently not start... it would turn over but just wouldn't fire up. This would last about an hour and then it would start up. It was aggravating because in the meantime I would be troubleshooting it and I would assume it was the last thing that I did that fixed it. The first time I found a loose ground wire to the dash. The next time I had swapped the relays around. The next time I prayed and hit the gas tank with a 2x4. Since it seemed to be fuel related I ordered the fuel pump. It took about an hour and a half to put it. That was over a month ago and I haven't had any problems with the truck not starting since. The parts stores get about $200 or more for the pump. So it was a great deal at 125.

Provides a noticable increase in power

I was hesitant to purchase this and it took me at least a year to make the decision to buy it. I should have bought it sooner.It was easy to install, I had no issues with the installation, just be carefull while working with the sensor you need to remove from the old unit and reinstall on the new.This has provided a welcome boost to power. Now when I hit the throttle hard, you get a force that feels and sounds GOOD.I do not know at this time if it has done anything to improve mileage, as of this time I am having too much fun enjoying the new found power.The only thing I think K&N could have done with this is to improve the appearance of the plastic tube that connects the aircleaner to the engine. It looks cheap and for the price of this thing I think they could have done better.If you want an increase in power and acceleration, you should consider this.This is installed on a 2008 Chrysler 300 3.5L V6

Purchased for a co-worker

I actually purchased this intake for a co-worker after constant compliments towards my car. Long story short he absolutely loves it and could not be happier. I have one of these(different model# of course) installed on my 2003 Crown Victoria PI, and it just brought so much more life to the car, better throttle response, MPG increased, more HP, and deep growl on acceleration and WOT. I would definitely recommend this upgrade to anyone considering.

Went in Fast and Works Perfect!

I love my new intake. It increased the performance of my charger and accelerates much easier now...almost too easy. Made a noticeable difference. It went in fast and took about 1 1/2 hours for me after watching a youtube video and following the instructions it was a piece of cake.
