True fit

I bought this for my Chevy Silverado and the fitment was true and material seems durable; So far they are working and performing as expected. Have no complaints. Since they haven't been on for more than a month, I can't rate on durability and long time performance. But As I said before I have no complaints so far and I'm very pleased with the product.

Got sound again

Had problem with my 2003 GMC Sierra where the head unit appeared to be working fine but no sound. Sometimes the sound would just come on randomly. Researched and many other suppliers thought it could be the amp, but there was no returns on electronics. Then there were other people who stated they could repair the amp for $250.I bought the product brand new for under $200 on Amazon and my problem was completely solved.

Not bad at all.

I am currently in the process of modding my FG2 over the next year period until I go home. I can not do major modifications due to location however minor modding I have no problem doing away from a garage. This product is great because it makes my FG2 stand out over the others located at my current establishment. The only downside was that the price seemed a little to steep for what they are however that may just be my opinion. It was fairly simple to install. I did it during my lunch break from work because I had just gone to pick up the mail. If you have a FG2 see the pictures I added and see if it suits what your looking for.

Very good brake pads, better than OEM

I replaced front brakes with the Hawk pads about three months ago, hoping that these will not be as dusty as the OEM pads. The only concern was whether these pads will perform as well as the OEM pads. Well, it's been three months and 4,000 miles since I replaced the front brake pads on my Q7. The outcome is pretty amazing. I have not noticed any reduction in braking power (as good as OEM), linear brake response, virtually no brake noise (quieter than OEM), far less brake dust (have not washed my rims since the brake job, but still very clean). And now I came back and bought the same pads for rear brakes.These pads are cheaper and better than OEM all around.

Put both front and back pads on my 2011 Q7. Couldn't recommend them more. No noise, low dust. Would rate them 6 stars if it was possible.

Installed on 2008 Pontiac Vibe

WOW. These pads are the best I have ever bought in over 30+ years. I've heard off and on that Hawks were great for high performance cars but never considered them for the Mrs. daily commuter. I also bought a set of dimpled and slotted rotors as well. The rotors have a "ticking" sound that is somewhat annoying. See my review of those.Be sure your passengers are belted in when stopping from lower speeds. Very light pedal pressure is needed. Stops on a dime. No brake dust. No brake squeal. I would recommend these to my grandma. The only regret is that I waited so long to buy.

Better than OEM pads

I have used Hawk HPS pads on many vehicles with stellar results every time. These pads are also good. They seem to dust less and they are quiet. Most importantly when I need to slow from triple digits I get quick response, good pedal feel and zero drama. I think the HPS pads might perform just a tiny bit better in extreme braking. You can't go wrong with either but if you break 100 daily you might want the HPS. That's what I had on this '03 Corolla prior to installing these ceramics. The HPS went 74K miles even with me driving. Final note, Hawk suggests a specific break in procedure. I suggest you follow their suggestion for best results.Update 6/7/2012: If these pads dust less than the HPS I can't really tell. The dust from these pads is nastier. After thousands of miles I suggest the HPS for anyone looking for increased performance. The HPS pads are substantially more responsive. Although these pads are decent and certainly better than OEM my next set will be HPS.
