Powerstroke Fuel Canister

Pay no attention to the stock photo Amazon uses for this product, this is the large "fuel canister" used on older 7.3L diesels. This product is a brand new OEM Motorcraft part, complete with new wiring and a new filter cartridge. The item was hundreds of dollars cheaper than the exact same product at the Ford dealer. And extra points to the seller for quick service, as the part arrived nearly a week early, allowing me to repair the truck quickly and returning it into service.

K&N 69 series typhoon

This product doesn't just say K&N, It performes like a champ! Immediately after the installation I tested the short rams abilities on a circuit and drag track. Just by installing this easy bolt on intake on my stock 09 kia spectra ex, I could feel the increased horsepower everytime I pressed the gas. The reaction time, overall speed and acceleration had all been increased a little with the typhoon. Another very important factor everyone should know is that it definitely saves alot of gas by sucking more air and allowing the rpm to rev lower in every gear. I would absolutly recomend this product to anyone who want's to save gas or drive fast lol.

Totally worth it.

This SRI is one of the best out there. K&N makes a good product and this one is no different. I immediately noticed a change in throttle response as well as acceleration. This SRI also produced a nice throaty sound when accelerating. You can definitely hear your intake valves at work as well as the air being sucked in. Don't expect a really noticeable gain in power when buying this as it isn't designed to do so. But regardless, you WILL have slightly more HP and a little more torque and you will also see gains in your fuel efficiency. All in all a good product for a short ram intake. You will see more power gains if you pair this with a nice set of headers and a catback exhaust system. All 3 will help each other out and you will see a more noticeable power gain.

real good quality usa made materials. easy to install, though took lots of adjustments. overall a good product. daily commute is more exciting, but it wont make your car a racer.

First of all, do your own research... I purchased this K&N 69-4515TS Cold Air Intake for my 2007 Chevy Cobalt LT with a 2.2L engine. Amazon said that this product would not fit my vehicle when IT IN FACT DOES!!!Installation was straight forward, took me about an hour and a half. Two of the big clamps didn't quite fit but I had a few extras lying around and was able to secure the air intake to the manifold.Instant results!! Noticed a difference in sound and pick up.I would definitely recommend this product!!

OK Performance, LOUD Intake, LOOKS Awesome

This intake is a Short Ram with a decent heat shield. Although not technically a Cold Air Intake, I would consider this the best Short Ram available for our car (cobalt/G5 2.2L).DOWNSIDES: Little bit low-end torque loss, Heat shield still leaves a few gaps for possible heat-soak...I will agree that the install didn't take to long, but it was a pain to align it all up properly. I actually was getting nervous during install, as I felt that it wasn't going to fit well at all. In the end, it all came together beautifully, and solid. Also, the clamp for the silicone elbow that attaches to intake tube is too small. Don't waste time messin' with it, use the one on stock air-box.AWESOME: Makes engine look sweet, high-quality materials/no cheap hardware, All connections fit perfectly for a professionally finished look, Throttle/gear response vastly improved while cruising...Oh, and it sounds ridiculous. It actually suprised me when I first took off with it. I have stock exhaust, and it's still unmistakably noticeable that something has been done to the car.

Cobalt Cold Air

Installed this on a 2006 Chevy Cobalt LS. Perfect fit. I did have to get a different clamp as one of them the screw had stripped out but then all was well. Sounds great, noticeable difference in performance and gas consumption. At first my MPG went down because at every opportunity I was flooring it just to hear the air sucked in. Now, I'm up a couple from where I was before the install.

Increased gas mileage and sounds great

This is the second time we have purchased this product for one of our vehicles. We have seen an increase in the gas mileage on our Jeep Commander around 3-5 mpg! We also love the way it sounds when you hit the gas.

I like the quality and performance boost. It gives a very impressive roar under hard acceleration. Down side is that I want to hear the roar so I tend to accelerate faster now. It seems to have made little difference in MPG, maybe slightly better which is good considering my earlier comment.
