Sounds great

I purchased this for my Lincoln LS even though it's listed for 03-05 Thunderbird's it will work for 03-06 Lincoln LS' as well. I installed it myself without any issues. It sounds great and makes it hard for me to keep my foot out of it. Seat of the pants it feels like it did pick up some power but I won"t be able to get to the track until next season to know for sure.

I baught this for an 06 Lincoln LS. This item may be expensive but its due to its high quality. This kit comes with everything you need, every nut and bolt and good instructions. You can slightly hear the intake at mid to high throttle. What you can hear, is a more pronounced engine "purr". Just love hearing the engine as I step on the gas. I beleive it has made my vehicle slightly more responsive.

A difference you can hear and feel

Replaced my stock air kit because it was cracked and unrepairable. Had been obviously losing power over some period of time until it leaned out so much that I was pinging badly. I didn't realize how much powered, I'd lost until I installed this kit. My tuner put it on his machine and said it was enough change to tune, but would work okay as is. I decided to have it tuned. Much better throttle response and pickup when I put my foot to it.The growl the engine now has from removing the silencer and sucking in more air, may bother some people, but I'm absolutely thrilled by the sound my TBird makes now when you take off or get on it. The way a car enthusiast friend of mine put it, "I'd have my foot constant on it, just to hear that beautiful growl".I would've preferred this be closed top like the stock box, to keep the air as cool as possible, built does have some insulation between the top of the hood and the actual filter.
