Sturdy, multiple uses, looks good and is priced right

This thing was a blessing while recovering from shoulder surgery. The table top flips up from flat to 20 degrees or 30 degrees, in either direction. That means it can go over the right or left side of the bed. The table is plenty big enough for a laptop, mouse, a book, telephone and a clip-on reading light. Use it horizontal for a medium-size flat-panel TV or a dinner tray plus drink and utensils. It has a small lip around the periphery to keep things from sliding off. The two paddle-handles are easy to find and use: One to raise/lower, and one for tilt. Release the handles and everything locks safely.Construction is quality: Sturdy powder-coated or plated metal parts (no corrosion and easy to clean), no sharp edges, laminate matte-finish table top (no glare), and casters with brakes (to prevent skidding around).Dimensions: Table-top 15" x 30", floor-to-table underside; any height from 27" to 39" and clearance needed below the bed for the stand legs to slide under: 3" or 1 ¼" with casters removed.Assembly is easy, even for the "mechanically challenged". You will need a Phillips screwdriver and a wrench (like an adjustable Crescent or even pliers). An Allen wrench is provided for the one bolt needing it. Only three bolts need tightening. The single nut used is the locking type to prevent loosening with use. The screwdriver is only used to remove and replace a small screw. Note: Be sure the small screw is in the shipping package; it is small compared to other parts and could be overlooked.Casters: Rolling the table around is easy. On smooth-floor-surfaces the brakes are great. On carpet the casters float nicely. On carpet the casters can be pointed correctly by grabbing each side of the table and rotating it a little, see-saw style while moving in desired direction.After my recovery we plan to use the table as a handy serving stand, reading while on the couch, and so on. It looks good with wood-grain top finish and subtle gray stand; not like hospital equipment.For this the price is very reasonable. It looks like it should cost a lot more. I'm giving it the full five stars because it deserves it.

I was nervous when I bought this because of so many "not so good" reviews, and the trouble others had with assembly. However, I am SO glad I bought this! The assembly took less than 5 minutes, and it is perfect for what we need!It is a very sturdy moveable table. The only flimsy part is on the very far end away from the base, but that is to be expected. This product is DEFINITELY worth the money. The company shipped fast, and it was a smooth transaction.

This table is great because it is sturdy and the tilt mechanism is sturdy as well.When the table is tilted there is no wobble. Also, it is very lightweight but this does nottake away from the rigidity (in this case rigidity is a good thing.).
