5Great product
By Benjamin Dufay
I've installed many of these in older VWs. Bottom line is if your electrical system is up to speed and you're not experiencing a lot of voltage drop, and you install the right part the right way, it will work perfect and continue to work well too!

5BMW 2002 pointless ignition
By Robert H Okita
The hall-effect sensor unit was an easy screw-in install in the distributor. Be careful with the small straight screws, they are very hard to find if you drop them as I did. The magnetic ring that fits over the distributor's shaft is a tight press-to-fit. You'll need socket-hammer to tap-seat it in. The wires are too short also, so you'll need to extend them to connect to the coil. You may need some different lugs to connect to the coil too.Once you get everything installed and wiring dressed up, the engine should start easily and maybe even run better than with the points. Best if all you don't have to change points or worry about the dwell-gap changing with pits in the points! I've installed this ignitor into 2 BMW 2002's and both are running fine.

5Best purchase for my Beetle 79!
By Raul Cordero
Bought this part for my VW Beetle 1979. For starters I was worried of buying the wrong type for my distributor but if you have the vacuum one, you won't have any trouble. Not more worrying about buying and changing points and condensers. Engine starts smoothly and you don't even have to press gas pedal to ignite. Awesome
