Love it!

It's hard to find a size 14 ring and I am so glad that I found this one! It's a heavy weight and my boyfriend wears it all the time. My only wish is that the pattern went all the way around. It's hard to see but the knot work is in 3 separate parts to make the complete ring.

Sophisticated yet Masculine

I was impressed by this ring. Overall finish was nice, however with up close inspection some faint abrasions are visible. But, I'm sure with a good polish they would be removed. The Cross is strong and solid looking yet, not over bearing. I searched for a long time to find a nice Iron Cross Ring, this one is definitely the most stream lined and stylish ring out there. A little pricey but, worth it for a unique ring.

Anant Bench Vise - A "Record" by any other name

Anant's 52 1/2 ED is a duplicate of the old Record vise. The vise arrived in a heavy-walled cardboard box that was lined in 1/8 luan for added strength.The action is silky smooth. The screw is ground and polished, as are the guides. The dog is good and heavy, and extend about 3/8 above the metal jaw which is handy if you plan to add taller faces to your vise.It looks better than the Amazon picture. With free shipping and no sales tax, this deal was unbeatable. The vise is excellent.

solid vise.

I just installed this last night on my bench so I can't speak to how it will hold up in the long run, but I'm VERY pleased with it. Everything that was already said is true except on mine the dog only protrudes slightly higher than the jaws - there's probably some manufacturing variance here. The dog itself just sits loosely and doesn't look pretty but is solid and should do the job. The vise is heavier than I expected - there's a lot of cast iron here. The wood lined box is necessary. Mine had broken through the side anyway but there was no damage. I was afraid the quick release would be cheap, but it's actually quite solid. The picture on here makes it look smaller than it is. I'm glad I went with this vise - I expect it to give me years of good service.

This workbench is pretty good for the money.The assembly is easy.The vises are well design, there is no play and they are flush to the bench.The main complaint I have with this bench is that it is too ligthweight. I would not recommand using this bench without the accessory cupboard which stiffen the assembly and add some weight.

Workbench

I purchased this workbench a couple months ago after doing quite a bit of research. I decided that I wanted a bench that was a little heavier and that would utilize the space underneath to make the storge area more efficient. The bench went together without any problem and for the average person would be quite sufficent as it comes from the factory. The vises are heavy duty and use a steel threaded dowel along with two steel guides which is much nicer than some of the other workbenches. I did replace the handles on the vises with ones that I made I thought they looked a little nicer than the ones that came with the bench. I reinforced the table by adding another 3/4" to the underneath side of the bench top. In addition I reversed the storage area to make it a flat shelf (ater adding some plywood) and added 6 equal sized storage drawers to maximize the sorage area. Not only do the improvements do all of the above but it also makes it one sturdy bench that can handle anything that I have thrown at. So if you can't afford to spend $1600+ this is a great alternative!

Great product, packaging needs improvement

I am very happy with the workbench. I've only had it for a week or so, but it's been great for repairs and small projects. I purchased with the optional cupboard, which is a useful accessory and does appear to add some heft.Pros: good build, goes together well, very functional, efficient use of spaceCons: packaging, as mentioned with reviews of other Sjoberg Nordic benches, is not adequate to protect product during shipping. My bench showed up with a few moderate cracks and dents.

Sheer Beauty

This is a rather large piece and fit perfectly with my decor. After figuring out how I was going to hang it (ended up using a picture hanging kit - wires and picture hooks). Although all panels are connected, keep in mind this is a scaled downed room divider, so don't expect all panels to line up evenly if hung on a wall. Delivery time was reasonable. The artwork and detail of the piece is simply stunning.

I live in a condo and didn't want my neighbors to be able to look into my kitchen window but I didn't want curtains to block out all of the sunlight. I thought about plantation shutters, but I am so excited I purchased this instead. Its FANTASTIC. The colors are beautiful. And the first thing people see when they walk into my kitchen is my guardian dragon. I found some fantastic curtains at JCP that match perfectly and a great rug from Target with these same colors. I've never decorated a kitchen before, but with this screen, I actually have a focal point if you can believe it. It arrived on time. The put tissue paper between the panels so the hand painting isn't damaged. Sadly mine came with a bit of damage, but I loved him instantly and a bit of paint on my own patched him right up. I get tons of sunlight and my neighbors can't watch me cook. So, I immediately bought a different one from this company for my master bathroom.

Great bench- but buy direct from R Larson

When I unpacked the bench, I saw right away that there was a split on one side where the vise slides into the bench. I contacted Robert Larson direclty and after determining the part could not be replaced, he sent a new bench right away and was a pleasure to deal with.The instructions for assembly were sparse but I was able to set it up in about an hour using an allen and a slotted wrench. The Nordic 1450 is a great well constructed bench, the picture doesn't show it also has a handy shelf underneath. This bench comes with two vises and four options on where to position them (the can be placed on the left or right side on the front of the bench or on either end) so there is flexibility. There are no buzzes and whistles, just a sturdy bench that's worth every penny. I highly recommend this product.On a side note- The one delivered by Amazon was sent in the box from the manufacturer but Robert Larson placed the replacement in reinforced packaging before delivery and while the split wood was probably not caused by the packaging, I did notice the wood was pristine in the second bench and dinged here and there on the first bench from Amazon. If I decide to purchase the optional cabinet for this bench, I will go directly to the retailer.

Quality Workbench built to last

The Sjoberg 995-1000 Nordic Plus 1450 Workbench is excellent. The workmanship is precise with wood being smooth and pieces fitting into place easily during assembly. After using one of these workbenches for several years, the surface shows very little wear. For this reason, we purchased another one without hesitation.The size of the bench is good for fitting in a smaller work area. However, it is large enough for the majority of projects that a person who is not an avid woodworking person would encounter.Packaging on the workbench should be heavier with more padding around the bottom board of the stand. Because of the weight of the workbench, it is easily damaged in transit.

Excellent quality

We purchased 2 of the 26' duffle bags so we could pack everything we need for 7-9 day vacations. The quality is top notch and they're easy to handle. They also hold the same amount as a larger suitcase without the added weight and collapse for storage. I particularly like the flexibility of being able to pack the top only, the top and bottom separately or as one deep duffle. The stretchy mesh panels inside do a great job of holding things in place and that was my primary reason for trying a duffle --- although duffles hold more, usually your clothes shift around and wrinkle because of the depth. This bag weighs the same as my 21" one step expandable so it is light and I'm looking forward to many opportunities to use it. Amazon's service was excellent.

Best luggage for the seasoned traveler!

Sure, it's more expensive than other luggage, but this luggage is built to last. Add to that the "Simple as that" lifetime guarantee to repair damage at no charge (except shipping fees) even if the damage is caused by an airline and color me impressed. Admittedly, I've never had to have them repair a bag; but if and when I do, I'm confident they'll get the job done.I've been using B&R luggage for the past five years. Between my wife and I, we have a 20" rollaboard, a 21" rollaboard, and this duffle. I initially was against the idea of buying a duffle as opposed to a larger rectangular suitcase, but my wife convinced me that the duffle is the way to go. She was right. This thing has pockets galore and the compartment on the bottom of the case that runs the entire length and width of the case is perfect for shoes.We usually use this bag for our five to ten day trips and we pack all the clothes and shoes for both of us into this one bag. When I think it's about to be full, somehow my wife manages to get another couple of shirts in there. The main compartment is simply cavernous.I can't say enough good things about B&R luggage. I don't plan to purchase luggage made by any other company in the future.

Tools have appearance of seconds

Through a series of circumstances I purchased this carving set from Amazon at the same time I purchase 2 sets of Two Cherries brand palm tools from a woodworking store. On the surface they appear the same at first glance. As I began sorting the tools from the 3 sets by type and size to put them into two pouches, I began to notice some subtle differences which became more pronounced on closer inspection. It may not be a big issue to some folks, but since the list prices for these sets were approximately the same, things like the wood in some of the handles appearing off color (a deep gray in places) on the Amazon set. The major issue I found was the finish of the handle on one gouge appeared as though it had been dipped in varnish and then dropped on a carpeted surface. A lumpy irregular area of hardened finish marred the wooden handle. While the blades appear to be quite serviceable and adequate for basic tasks straight from the box. it is easy to pick out the tools from the Amazon set when all are just lying on the work bench. I was disappointed to find such a noticeable difference in tools from the same company at the same prices. In the future, I will likely opt for purchasing additional Two Cherries tools from the wood shop that threw in a complimentary free final touch up and stropping to give the tools a truly ready for immediate use finish and all the tools having a matching color and finish one would expect for tools of this reputation.

good steel, nice polished handles, sharp edges out of the box. I use them for fine inlay, the work as they should. I little slipstrop and youre good to go.
