Great adapter!

I looked around for quite a while for a good ipod adapter for my car. I was tired of the poor sound quality of the tape adapters and FM transmitters and wanted something with good quality that also charged the unit. After hearing of a few items that broke down soon after they were purchased, i tried the Peripheral adapter. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. I've had it for about 4 months now and it works flawlessly. I installed it myself and called up technical support for a simple connection question and they helped me right away. I'm not an electrical engineer by any strech of the imagination and I had this thing up and running in under 45 min. This works and I would advise anyone in need of a quality ipod adapter to purchase it.

There is no telling how many dollars I have spent on FM transmitters for my wife and I. I bought the Peripheral Electronic piece and am amazed. The quality of the sound is great. We both carry 3G I-phones and the instructions said you could not make or recieve phone calls. WRONG. It works great. It , however, it will not recharge but there is an adapter (is710) that will correct this prob. My only complaint is the availability of product . I drive a 99 Ford f250. The website shows the part number but I haven't found the product on line any where and the closest dealer is 90 miles away. BUMMER! Money well spent on my wife's '01 Bmw though.

Doesn't last!!!

I don't normally leave reviews, but thought this item needed one given my experience. I have now had THREE of these in 3 different vehicles. Each one died almost exactly 2 years upon using it. The first time I was miffed, the second time suspicious, now I am pretty convinced: This is a nice product that works very well but simply doesn't last. You can purchase with confidence if you don't plan on having it very long but I wouldn't expect a very durable product.
