5very differend
By Linda Van Strien
I had orderd these boots and i live in the Netherlands. They had caught the package at customs, so with shipment cost and tax and the courier company wanted also 17 euro for handeling at custom they cost me 102 euro (145 u.s.dollar). But i have to say they are so beautiful and differend, that they where worth the money. Here in the Netherlands i have never seen them. Very thick sheepskin footbed, feels nice with bare feet. The hide on the foot part is shiny (i like that) and not to soft so you dont hurt youre toe's so fast if you hit something. For me they were the right size i have 41 and that is in the U.S. size 10, it fit perfect. The only bad thing is that my dog is affraid of my boots.

5LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these boots! Says Greg's wife!
By G. Krizan
My parents treat my family to Christmas in Vail each year. I have always admired, by far, the gorgeous fur boots that the wealthy sport on the mountain. Since I was a child, I wanted a pair of my own...I have searched the web for years to find a pair that we could budget for - that look like the $350+ boots I coveted. I was excited when I saw these! However, due to the review that was posted, I was worried about the quality when I ordered them. When they arrived, I was so relieved! The feathers do not appear to easily fall off as the other review stated. The boots are top quality. I am very fussy. This actually is the first review I am inspired to take the time to write. I wear an 8 1/2 and ordered a 9, it is a perfect fit! Comfortable and stylish! Totally LOVE them! Now when I am skiing with my family over the holiday I can pretend to be one of the wealthy trophy wives for the week! Ha! ~Jennifer

5wonderful, warm, attractive boots
By M. Rush
These boots are extremely attractive and warm. Other buyers thought that they ran small but they are true to size but not wide in the ankle area which keeps them snug and easy to walk in. You only need to wear a ultra thin sock as they are so very warm. They arrived quicker than any order I have ever placed and it was even during the Holidays. I already own these boots but ordered another pair for a gift.

Its hard to find sweatshirts in a true tall size. A lot of them may be labeled "tall" but they really are not. This Carhartt fits perfect.

4Excellent, but with issues
By Diane A.
First of all, I bought this bag because the price was considerably below comperable rolling photo bags. I believe I paid a bit over $200, compared to over $300 for its competitors. It is a great bag, no doubt. When my gear is in it, I know that it's all well protected, from my Nikon D200 to my largest lens, a Tamron 200-500mm. There is room for my additional lenses, and all the rest of the stuff I drag around, except my tripod, which I put into my luggage when I travel. In fact, I bought it specifically for pulling around airports, because carrying all my photo gear was getting really old (maybe it's just me getting old....) Which leads to the issues:1. As a carry-on, be warned. This will fit in the overhead bin, but ONLY if you open up the back where the backpack straps are stored, and lay it out flat. Otherwise, it just won't make it. It's a tight fit, but it's do-able. I've flown four times since I purchased this, so I know from experience. But, filled with gear, it's also too heavy, so I always have to rely on some strong man to do the man thing and get this sucker up there. Goddess forbid I'm told that I have to put it in with the luggage. I'd rather not fly.2. The single post puller feels a bit weak, and it can tend to roll the bag if your not careful. It did roll a few times for me, but now that I know it has the tendency, I am careful going around corners, etc. As for being weak, it's really not, I don't think. It works, telescopes, etc. just fine. It's never felt like it was going to put loose or break.3. The laptop slot is miserably tight. It invariably breaks my fingernails as I rush to remove the laptop when I'm at airport security. It's tight, but it protects the computer very well. In fact, there is room in the bag itself to keep the laptop necessities while traveling, including the power cord and the mouse.4. For the life of me, I cannot imagine using this bag as a backpack. It's heavy in its own right. And, its big. In fact, I just may remove the backpack straps altogether, to avoid overhead storage issues. In fact, when I'm not traveling, it's a great storage device for gear that I'm not bringing with me on specific shoots.Other than these four issues, it's a really nice bag. It's well built, and the zipper system is really nice. It has these rubber closures that fit well over the zipper as you zip it up. It's well padded. It's spacious. It's a nice bag. But, having said that, if I had an extra $200 on top of what this cost, I'd rather buy a Pelican or a Think Tank airline bag. As I said up front, it was a money issue. I'm not disappointed.Hope this all helps. :-)

5Fantastic Travel Backpack.
By P. Wei
Rollerblade wheelsFull Backpack with padded straps and even some lumbar padding.Holds 2 camera bodies with grips, 8-10 lenses, flash, and even capacity to hold a full sized Manfrotto Tripod.Weather wrapWeather proof zippers15-17 inch Laptop caseSolid construction retractable handleSide access pockets that gives you access to the main compartmentDetachable CF card walletAnd instantly converts to a standard carry-on luggage bag by a removable shell. This is a well-engineered bag with a lot of flexibility built in. The laptop sits snugly and securely behind the handle plate mechanism so your back never makes contact with the lap top. The compartments offer a spacious configuration with very easy to access side compartments. The compartments come out in single removable shell, allowing you to convert this camera bag into an airline luggage bag in mere seconds. The construction is solid and the handle slides out with smooth precision. The outer panel folds out to a handy tripod holder that permits you to carry small travel tripods to large tripods (like the Manfrottos). You can convert this roller bag into a hiking backpackby unzipping panel to reveal the straps. Tenba cleverly engineered this flap to cover the luggage wheels so it never soils your clothing then lugging the pack on your back. The lumbar padding is minimal. The backpack straps do have a waist strap and a chest strap for extended hiking. There's an all weather wrap included in the pack. Also there's weather resistant zippers that seal the compartment against rain. The case fits perfectly on the airline overhead compartment. Rolls nicely through airports.A free CF card wallet with a tethered leash is provided on one of the side access pockets.Overall, this bag gets high marks from me.Advantages:Well BuiltLots of featuresVersatile and solid constructionLots of capacityDisadvantages:Lumbar padding is minimalLimited color choices.Bottom line:Surprisingly great and underrated features make this bag a terrific value for the traveling photojournalist.

5Tenba Shootout Rolling Backpack
By Gerald L. Hancock
This product is an outstanding example of blending the two worlds of digital photography and digital imaging into one incredibly practical rolling unit that held everything I wanted to take to Mexico for taking and processing images. I can't tell you everything this backpack has or can do. It would take more than I wish to type. Suffice it to say that for both the professional and amateur photographer who wants a package that can hold it all (including laptop and all accessories), protect everything, take on or off the road and be incredibly accessible, this is the unit for you. I love it.

5Very happy with my purchase
By justaviking
I am very happy with these speakers.I replaced a cheap 2.1 set of speakers, and this sub-woofer is much better sounding than what I had before. Of course you could get even better sound by spending a lot more money, but I believe these are a very good value.Remember you might need to reconfigure Windows and/or your BIOS and/or your Sound Card for a 5.1 speaker setup. When you are properly setup, you do NOT need to turn on the "Matrix" feature. That is only needed when you connect it to a simple stereo source like a video game console. Your computer will "upgrade" your stereo music to a 5.1 signal when configured correctly, so like I said, you can leave the Matrix button turned off when connected to your computer. The only negative, as others have shared, is the CABLES ARE SHORT. Add $15 to the price to include a trip to Radio Shack for some RCA extension cables.I am stilling giving this a 5-start rating, since I knew about the cable length issue before I bought it.

5Logitech X-540 Speakers for TV sound
By MGB Driver
Since there are lots of comments about the lead lengths, maybe some data would help (why is it not in the official specs?). Here are the approximate lengths that came with mine:Power input cord: 6ft 6in (to sub)Wired remote: 5ft 6in (from sub)Audio input: 6ft 2in (Three 3.5mm male stereo jack plugs on each end; green (front); black (rear); orange (center+sub)Center speaker: 7ft 2inFront speakers: 5ft 3inRear speakers: 14ft 2inThere is also an 8in adapter with a green stereo socket on one end, red and white female RCAs on the other (for use with a video game console). If you only have a single stereo output to feed these speakers you will only get sound out of the two fronts and the sub, unless you select matrix. Personally I find the matrix mode artificial sounding and hard to listen to, but it seems a waste to only use two of the five speakers so I piggy-backed two one-to-two stereo adapters to make three outputs and plugged in the green, black and orange input plugs (somebody suggested a Radio Shack Boostaroo, but I think that requires batteries - I get plenty of output with the passive one-to-three split). The rear speakers can then be placed alongside the front speakers and the center speaker puts out the sum of the two stereo channels. This gives a very acceptable sound when plugged into the headphone output of the TV and volume can be set with the TV remote. This sound is very much better than the sound from the TV speakers. After going through the experimentation to arrive at this setup I am very happy with this purchase.

5Blasted Away!!
By RebH
This little puppy rocks!! After adjusting the volume settings on 3 remotes and devices (Yes, I am very picky), well, let's just say that I have to keep the volume down. After listening to this system hooked up to my TV for just 1 hour, I turned the system off (for testing the audible difference), and found that I could Never go back to my TV only speakers. WOW is the word! This is great for "Gadget Freaks" like myself who just want to start small and inexpensive. If you have RCA Audio Out L/R (Red & White - You will also need an AV Cable both ends male to run from included adapter to TV) jacks on your TV, this system comes with the necessary adapter to hook it up to your TV. It took me a total of 3 minutes to set it up. A Breeze! Get 'em and see what kind of set up you can come up with. Yes, I know these are PC speakers, but for what I am doing I needed them to be compatible with my TV as well.

3Nice figure but false scale
By Pitviper
After all the hype about this figure, I decided to get one. Fortunately Amazon is the only place I can find this figure available. This is probably the most expensive anime figure I have owned so far. Two years ago I can't even dream of spending more than $20 on a plastic figure.Though, the figure has a very sexy post and very apppealing with no seam line anywhere, I cannot give a high rate on the overall quality. The one I have received, has a couple of flaws from the factory. One, is that her right heal has came off and stuck at her right pelvic in the sealed package. I think it can be reattached but I'm not ready to open the box yet. Secondly, there is a black glob of paint (I think), about 1/8" in size stuck on her hair that came over to the front. Now, the major disaapointment is that Orchid Seed had lied about the scale. This figure is NOT 1/6 scale as advetised, it is actually 1/7 scale or might even 1/8 scale, unless Musane is a very tiny heroine. The figure stands about 8 1/2" tall or 22 cm. from head to toe not counting extended hair. I have compared with the 1/7 scale Ignis figure from Max Factory and other 1/7 scale figures, Musane is still a tad bit smaller than the others. I believe Orchid Seed measured Musane with her long blade attached which would be about 40 cm total in hight and declared it (duh..) 1/6 scale. If only this figure come in a life size..Hmmm

4Great figure, won't disappoint if you're a WB fan
By Esha
This is the Orchid Seed version of Masane in her Witchblade form. There are a couple different versions of her from different manufacturers. Kotobukiya has one, and Alter... after wanting to purchase the Kotobukiya version and unable to find it without paying extortionist prices, I decided to hold off.I'm glad I did, because as nice as Kotobukiya's version is, I ended up liking this one more. Kotobukiya's version of Masane in her "looking over the shoulder pose", while enticing and provocative, does not have the feeling of kinetic energy that this one has. However, as others have said, the scale is definitely not 1/6. And I would go so far as to say it's not even 1/7. It's probably not quite as small as 1/8 though, so I'd put it around 1/7.5. I have her next to another 1/7 figure and she's just a smidge smaller in stature. However that aside, the figure is beautiful. The painting is done quite well, and the hair tendrils add a dynamic feeling of motion to her. She looks dangerous with the long blade in and they got her eyes perfect. Her base is also quite nice, keeping the simple round translucent base that have been included with some of their other Witchblade figures. It is a small detail but it fits the figure nicely.Other accessories include the other blade which is very short, perhaps intended to look broken, I can't really tell. Perhaps it is just included for people with fixed height display shelving / cases. Either way, there isn't much in the way of additional accessories with this figure, unless you coun't the hair tendrils (which I don't since they are intended to be on the figure at all times).Speaking of which, the hair tendrils can be quite difficult to get into place since they seem to have been made to fit during the sculpt, and not taken in to account the thickness that the paint adds. Or perhaps it was meant to be so snug and that was by design. Either way, they fit, but it takes considerable force in some instances.I am pleased to add this figure to my small collection (I have a strict set of criteria for my collection so it is quite small).

5Well made American product
By Craig A. Watkins
Build quality is good, instructions mostly clear but the products operation is excellent (once we figured out how to properly set it for a 6 cylinder engine and tach feed). Never bounces, low if any noticeable hysteresis. A little pricey but very much worth it.

5Nikon 1200 8358 Rangefinder
By Rosemary S. Taylor
My wife bought me the Nikon Monarch 1200 Rangefinder for shooting 1000 yard targets at my gun club and for hunting. While rangeing out to 800 yards it works perfect. Anything past that a person has to have a steady hand or use a tripod and the 1200 works great! I can't wait to use it this hunting season! So far the 1200 is a great product and I am very happy with it. Doug Taylor Butte, Mt.

5Top-notch for golf enthusiasts
By D. Miller
Just used this Nikon LR1200 today for the first time. Specific likes:- well made, compact size fits easily in my golf bag- no larger than my open hand; made by Nikon, who know something about optics...what more could you want?- waterproof construction- Nikon claims you can old it under 5' of water for 5 minutes without damage.- easy to use; 1 button point and shoot.- I have the co-branded Calloway unit, which comes with a nifty little pouch that slips around the unit to protect it and has cover to protect front optics. Lacks one for the rear eyepiece but I found that a soda cap fits perfect.- Image is clear and sharp; 7x optics quickly pick up distant objects; worked well on the white pin flags at a local course. Quickly picked up a flag at 525 yds! Zeroed in on a truck at 735 yds. Pins within 250 yds easily detected.- unit allows you to "pan" your field and will display the closest object first. Very neat when you need to resolve a pin flag with a bunch of trees in the background.- the optics have a diopter adjustment to compensate for vision.- the battery compartment is very secure. (screw on cover with o-ring, that you can tighten/loosen with a coin- after some on-line searches, picked it up new for $289, free shipping and no-tax... Great buy; compared to the $400+++ Bushnell 1500/1600 units.- tried a Bushnell 550 before this... dont even bother thinking about using their 4x model... not suited for golf. And read reviews on some of the other Bushnell units before you buy.- based on my two experiences, this LR1200 wont disappoint;- hopes this helps; I am a real hacker (bogey golf) and was disappointed when I went searching for reviews.

2Nikon 8358 Monarch 1200 Rangefinder
By D.Scherman
Wanting to shoot at long range targets (500-1000)yd I thought the Nikon was perfect in that it had a 1200 yard range limit. Testing the range at three different locations it had trouble with any range past 500 yards. I did get it to range a 920 yard house but it took 5 tries. Was also a bit disappointed because the view was somewhat dark. Returned it and purchased a Zeiss Victory which has no problem with ranges up to 1200 yards with very fast readings, and has a very clear 8 power view. You get what you pay for!

I own a pair of these, got them formyself for Christmas (brief story - Got the Shure E2c's for Christmas, wasn't terribly pleased with them, did lots of research, then went out and bought some Senn 300's and these Vibes to compare with the Shures). At first, it was a pretty hard decision between the Sennheiser 300's and the Vibes. Both had their stronger points. The 300's had a bit stronger bass response, while still retaining nice mids and highs. Plus, it was cheaper ($70 vs $100 for the Vibes. But I understood that it would be necessary to 'burn in' the Vibes for several hours, so I left it rotating through the Vision:M's library overnight. And what you may have read is definitely true: the Vibes do need a period of time in order to 'smooth out', or maybe a better term would be to 'fill out'.The long and short of it was, I bought the Sennheiser and the V-Moda on a Thursday evening. Friday morning, I see an ad in the paper from the retail store where I purchased the Vibes, putting them on sale for $79. As close as the Senns and the Vibes were, the Vibes were still clearly better, and now, with the sale price, they wound up only being $10 different in price. My decision was made for me. Returned the Shures and the Senns, and have now been using the Vibes frequently for over a week.I tell you this so that you will know that I did in fact compare some well-regarded iem's in this range, so maybe you won't have to. It is a pain to buy iem's because you cannot try them out before you purchase them.In any case, the verdict on the Vibes is this: They are great, great headphones. Even within just a week of use I can tell a difference between their performance now and the performance out of the box. Brand new, they were a bit tinny, and seemed to struggle with bass as well. Now, however, they are rich, deep, have sparkling highs, lush mids, and offer the best soundstage of any of the others I tried. The rundown: the #1 factor with headphones is the sound, which is as it ought to be. While it may be possible that some other iem's in the under-$100 category might techincally reproduce a more 'accurate' sound, I seriously doubt there are any out there which can produce one as enjoyable. It is simply so nice a sound, it actually makes you look forward to the next time you are able to use them. When is the last time you ever thought THAT with your stock earbuds?Comfort: The Vibes are extremely small and light, I would say less than half the size of the Shures, and roughly equal in size to the Senns. It's difficult to judge the size of these things from merely looking at photos of them on the internet. But they are tiny little things. Let me put it this way: you should even be able to comfortably lie in bed, with your head on its side on a pillow, and listen to these phones without any discomfort. YMMV of course. The default tips installed on them out of the package are the small silicone tips, and I have been so pleased with the fit and comfort that I have not even bothered to sample any of the other sizes, or even the allegedly-softer black tips. I would rate the Vibes as the most comfortable of the 3, with the Senns #2 and the Shures far behind.Isolation: Of the three, the Vibes give the least amount of 'sound isolation'. Don't interpret this as a bad thing, however. Unless you genuinely, seriously, honestly NEED to utterly silence the outside world when you listen to your headphones, it should not be a problem. Personally, I find that 'plugged up' feeling of the totally-isolating headphones to be extremely uncomfortable. Not painful as such, just not a comfortable feeling. The Vibes do not give you that plugged sensation at all (at least as far as I can tell), but they still isolate pretty well. Additionally, I have heard it said that the reduced isolation of the Vibes is what allows them to have such an open, airy quality to them, which in turn contributes to their having such an excellent soundstage. While I am not a propeller-head enough to know if this is completely true, I can tell you that the Vibes have a better soundstage, by far, than the Shures, and noticeably better than the Senns.Accessories/Design: This is where V-Moda loses me a little bit. The marketing for these babies is calculated to appeal to those ultra-cool, ultra-hip California jet-setter stylistas. Fair enough. I am not one of them, but all I really care about is the sound and the comfort. So the marketing is not a negative for me, as long as the goods deliver, which they do.The problem, if you can call it that, is that the cosmetic design has been influenced by this marketing strategy, and it has caused them to flub one thing, really very silly on their part. The Vibes come with several different tips, both the clear silicon and the softer black rubber ones, of varying sizes. Good. They come with something called the 'Cable Wrap', which is a notch and angled pice of silicone rubber designed to allow you to wrap excess cable around it, when you need a shorter length. Eh, whatever. Not a big deal to me.They also come with a really silly, effite 'leather' storage bag/case, which looks like gold lame'. First of all, it's not leather, despite what they say. Second, ew. Come on V-Moda. Where else, outside of San Francisco, is anyone going to use this thing?Lastly, the design of the headphones themselves. They are serious chrome metal buds. Nice. Slick design there. I really like the cable, with the clear exterior and some kind of interior mesh. Also cool. Plus, the cable is 'Y-shaped' and not 'J-shaped'. I know some people swear by 'J-shaped' cables, but I hate them. So, that's good too. The problem? The headphone jack. It seems nowdays that you either get to have a Y Cable or an angled jack, but not both. (For example, the Senn 300's have an angled plug, which is good, but they saddle you with that stupid J Cable, which is bad. The clone of the Senns, the Creative EP 630's, have a Y Cable, but a straight plug. Argh!) So anyway, the Vibes have a straight plug, which is bad enough because that kind of plug is not good for your audio device. The sideways torque can damage the internals of the thing. But even worse than that, V-Moda has designed the jack with a slick, TAPERED metal grip. This means that it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to unplug your headphones without having to pull on the cable itself, instead of the jack. And this is a surefire way to end up with a short in the cable. This is why I docked these phones a half-star. They let their exciting hip design strategy flub up their headphone design in a potentially serious way.Hopefully, the inner workings of the jack are strong enough that they will not begin to short from having to pull on the cable, and all will be well.In any case, other than that one flaw, these headphones are unquestionably the best bang for the buck under $100. I have not listened to any of the competitors in the next range, looking up at the $200 and $300 phones, but those would have to be some seriously great cans to be able to beat these little guys in the sound department.I highly recommend these, just be careful unplugging them.Enjoy!

5Replaced my Shures
By A. Reeve
I've used a pair of Shure E3s for a while now but a few things annoyed me about them - they were hard to put in and take out, they weren't always comfortable (whichever tips I used) and there wasn't a whole lot of bass coming out of them. I saw these recently and at the price had to try them - they're awesome. They go in like regular earbuds (no more looping the wire around your ears, although you can still do that if you want!), sound great, and are super comfortable. They even look good as a bonus. The gold case they come with sucks, but that's not the end of the world. If you're in the market for IEMs at any price (well, up to about $300 I guess) then check these out, they're surprisingly good.

5Great earbuds, better than Bose Triports
By Steven L. Hirsch
They haven't even broken in yet and I can tell they are head and shoulders above the Bose Triports; lighter weight, better cords, better eartips, warmer and more balanced soundstage. Don't bother with the Bose. They are heavy and have overbearing bass. V-Moda has a different model that delivers huge bass if that's your style. These stay in with 2 out of the 3 sizes of eartips they give you whereas the Bose constantly fell out of my ears regardless of which size I tried. Noise canceling is much better as well so I can enjoy these in the subway. These cost less and sound much better. It's a no-brainer. Only thing missing is an in-line volume control on the cord.

5Strong, smooth, light and powerful
By Antonio
I was told Metabo is a made-in-germany a-notch-better-than-Bosch brand and I can believe it. Great all around saw for 2x and 3/4 plywood. Light. Only reason I also have a corded one is for 3/4 hardwood (The Metabo will cut it but run out of battery too fast).Important to me : very low noise level so I do not have to wear ear protection (unlike my screaming loud Hitachi corded).Price is steep, better get it in the pack with the drill (great) and reciprocal saw (no match for corded Metabo but great in the garden!).

5Great Binoculars
By Randahl E. Wischmann
Have several other binoculars and these are the best yet. Not expensive, but as good as the best. Great clarity under low light, magnification for distances is excellent and they are compact for their capabilities. Recommend them.

5Great Binoculars
By TheRedVikingSE
These are great Binoculars. They really bring in light and allow you see very well in low light conditions. The image is very crisp. I like the attached lens covers make them easy to actually use and don't have to worry about keeping up with them. The adjustable eye cups make it easy to set eye relief for different people whether you were glasses or not and what is comfortable. Great Glass!

5Nikon 7519 - Quality at its best.
By Fran
These binoculars are very good. I enjoy them for watching birds and nature. They are a bit big and have some weight to them, but I bought them knowing this ahead of time. I would recommend the Nikon 7519 for most uses.

5revised review
By jeff Kahn
I recently purchased the Metabo WE14-125VS.Hoping it would help with some of my grinding chores. I often have to grind for up to 6 hours daily and thought I deserved a top notch grinder. With excitement, I opened the box to see my new $200. grinder,it looked good. After using it for 5 min. I realized it was a little heavy, it is 1 pound heavier than my Makitas'.My hand started to cramp after 30 min. It has a body diameter of 2.65 in..5 in wider than my Makitas'.The arbor is rather long and gouged the metal when using a flap wheel. I shortened it. I can't return it now.The motor whines and bearings seem to rattle at all speeds not what I expected from precision German engineering. After using this grinder for a couple weeks, I have started to realize how good it is.When you crank the speed up and bear down on the metal, the Metabo really starts to shine.Jobs like grinding 70 feet of weld that took 2 hours before, can now be done in less than 1. This grinder does not bog down like all my others. What I thought was heavy and a bit clunky, has turned into the favorite grinder in the shop.
