These sexy soft 100% alpaca wool cloak cape wrap poncho coats are heavier in weight and much warmer than our alpaca shawls but they are not heavy (they weigh approximately 30 ounces). They will never scratch or itch and are made to be worn loose with lots of fashion versatility. They can be worn with both front sides down or with one front side draped over a shoulder. This color is a luscious solid black color and when lying flat is rectangular with rounded corners and measures approximately 51 inches wide and 65 inches long including the beautiful 4 inch fringe on all 4 sides. There is 1 3/4 inch wide detail crochet banding on all 4 sides with 1/2 inch crochet banding around the neckline and entire front slit that runs half way up the center length of this of this beautifully light weight yet wonderfully warm unlined poncho coat. One size fits most. There is basically no difference between the front and the back except for the open slit in the front. The coat falls approximately 32 inches including the fringe from the neckline in both the front and the back. Colors may vary slightly from the pictures shown. This cape is, as advertised, warm and wonderfully soft. As a longtime knitter, I know fibers and softness; and this cape exceeded my expectations. I walk past the closet and have to reach in and touch it. It was also reasonably priced and is an exceptional value.

I love it. Soft, easy to wear. I do wish it had been an actual poncho, but I've closed part of the front and it work. Great for this handicapped person.
